On a florida villa.
We are so excited :bounce: - and it hasn't even been accepted yet!! The villa is on Sunset Lakes and is absolutely lovely. As is usual with these things it's a bit more than we wanted to spend but what the heck - in for a penny, in for a large amount of dollars.
Anyone done all this before us?? If so, any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do let us know how things go.

WOW Good luck! :)
I once, with wishful thinking, considered going the Villa route, but in the end DVC was cheaper and less aggro...but that doesn't mean I'm not still jealous!

Sue....i was wondering, i expect you will want to rent in out. So out of the goodness of my heart because i am a very giving person, i am happy to stay in your villa when you are not there to make sure that it is kept all clean an tidy for your guests. They obviously wont know i am there ( well i will have to visit the parks at some time). I am very quite and experienced in the cleaning world.
If you require my cv i am happy to e-mail it too you!
No no sue dont thank me, it's the least i can do.
Tanya:rolleyes:

Actually Tanya, there is a cupboard under the stairs that would suit you just fine with your mop and bucket.
I'm sure we could come to an arrangement over the rent :D
Well done Sue for taking the "plunge" !!! You will not regret it. I spoke to you before under a different guise as I own too, if I can be of any help now feel free to ask.
Congrats!!

Hi Sue
This is my first time on this forum and my first posting!
We bought a villa at Rolling Hills in October 1999 which is just past Splendid China and very near to Sunset Lakes - also very near to Disney which was the whole point of the exercise!
It's great fun but can be lots of hard work if you're relying on rental income to cover the mortgage, if you are don't believe a work the sales guys have told you.
If you don't need a mortgate ....you lucky things.
There's a florida home owners forum you can visit with lots of useful info and anything you can think of somebody usually knows the answer.
We thoroughly enjoy going out whenever we can, but with teenage children it's difficult between GCSE, AS and A levels - and usually costs us a fortune!

Hi Sue
Like Fee I have just joined the forum.
I bought a villa on Highlands Reserve in Dec 2000 and it is hard work! There are many times during the last 15 months when I wished I had not bought it. mainly because of problems with the Management Company. I have recently changed MC and now I am much happier.
