Will our room have a fridge (cat 6)? Our papers said "absolutely no coolers allowed." How strict are they on this? (We will have a soft-sided cooler from our hotel stay before the cruise.)
Thanks!

All rooms have a "beverage cooler" in them. We have brought a soft side cooler with us on every trip filled with sodas and adult beverages. When we leave- we have it filled with souvies! They have never said anything to us.
What we did was pack our Soft Sided Rollong Cooler in a X-L luggage bag as well as things that were not going to fit in thed first suitcase. We also packed Sodas (Double Garbage Bagged) and no problem there was nothing said nor implied about the cooler. In Fact. the Steward Kept it filled every day with Ice for us.

We had a small soft sided cooler we kept in the room. I think as long as you aren't schlepping around a 40 gal monster with you they are a little lenient.

I think by 'coolers' they mean the hard sided ones. We rolled our soft sided cooler full of drinks on board in January and no one said a thing. Our cabin steward filled it with ice for us. We filled it with a lot of the stuff we bought for the trip home!
