no there aren't tea kettles. we used the coffee maker to boil water.
I don't think the water is actually boiling. You can just run water through the coffee maker but it isn't boiling.

I'm not sure you can use this in the room, isn't it a violation of the fire code or something? :confused3

why would they have power points in the room if you couldn't use them though??:confused3
I would imagine a tea kettle is fine. If they have coffee makers, a tea kettle shouldn't be any more of a fire hazard. We've used a vaporizor in the room and housekeeping didn't say anything. You may be able to borrow a tea kettle from star services. You could also just go down to Emack and Bolio's and I am sure they would have boiling water for you. It is like a little convenience/ice cream/coffee parlour. I would give the hotel a call. I am sure many people have this same issue.

are you wanting sterilized water or do you just need hot water to warm the bottle? If you just need it to warm a bottle I would think the coffee pot would be fine for heating it otherwise I would buy bottled water and use that... you can heat bottled water and then add room temperature bottled water to it too to make it just the right temp. before mixing with formula.
