I had an interesting experience in the Mt Everest Single rider line....I asked to ride in the front and I was stunned for the guy to tell me they do not allow single riders in the front car!!!! I didnt argue with him but he was full of crap as they have let many single riders ride in the front car so I am not certain what that was all about..... :confused3 ..... Has anyone else ever been told that???

I asked to be put in front car and willing to wait for another single rider, that I would have had no problem with.....was just amazed when they said no because I dont know why it would have mattered whether it was 2 single riders or 2 people....Just thought that was strange is all :confused3

i couldn't believe that i didn't know about this single rider line on my last trip. i waited all day in the very very hot sun to use my fastpass. turned out it was hidden by all the people waiting to ride. glad you posted this so new solo travelers will know.

I agree, thanks for posting this!

I always fast pass this ride, but since I always have to ride it alone anyway I might as well use this line. I just didn't see it in October.

Technically the singles line is to fill in empty seats wherever that may be on the ride,if you get luck and get the front row great,so I would understand why singles can't request a front row ride.

I would never even think of asking for special consideration as a single.

Singles are there to fill in empty seats... where ever they end up being.

You'd be lucky to get a front seat. Honest I could care less what car i'd sit on since I love EE reguardless.

When I was up in Busch Gardens in VA I took the single riders line on Griffon, 3 times in a row I got up front :)

I used the EE single rider line on Monday of last week - there were 3 people ahead of me the 1st time, and NO ONE ahead of me the 2nd time! I wonder if people just don't realize it's there. The stand-by wait was 50 min.

I'm so happy to see that Disney does this. That's a great thing for someone, like me, who winds up at Disney solo alot!

Single Riders Line Rule and let me assure you it is the best way to go.
EPCOT has TEST TRACK and you get your own line and do not have to view the video/ you just proceed to the ride
HS has Rock and Roller Coaster/ you can get through very quick/ also Toy Story mania will have single rider/ awesome ride and will be the main attraction at HS after it opens for all.
Expedition Everest moves very quickly. I also encounted the situation mentioned by someone earlier. I was told Single riders did not get the front. Toward the end of the park closing the regular line was flying so I walked through and got the front seat.
I do not believe that there are any single rider rides at MK

Hopefully DISNEY will add more Single Rider riders

yea they are the BEST!

rode EE twice - but it isn't my favorite.

they had ss for Mission Space - but had to use it when they got green and orange lines.

there is one for soarin' and at first you could use it. but they close it after a couple of months - with no explanation. Stil miss it!

so Test Track is it at Epcot for now.

yea the one for EE is kind of hidden - just ask the CM where it is. One of them send me to it when I started to get in the regular line.

pretty sure that all the new rides will have single riders zone.

WDW knows a good thing when they see it.

As my husband doesnt like riding the coasters, I like to use the single line. There are always huge separate queues for the front row of Dueling Dragons. However when I got to the front queue of Dueling Dragons, they needed a single rider for the front and I jumped at the chance, it was only after I sat down that I realised I had been a bit carried away. I found out its alot more intense at the front! Never again!

When my brother and I split up one day, I went to AK in the morning. I got on the line for EE, which at that point was already up to 30 minute wait for standby. When I got up to the CM, I asked her if there was a single rider line. She showed me where it was, so I got on that line and had a five minute wait as opposed to 30.

Be sure to ask where the single-rider line is as it is a little hard to find.

I've found that the single rider line for Everest is not open first thing in the morning - I asked once and was told they just didn't have anybody to staff it.

Also, at Test Track I have had to ask to get the line opened. The CM told me that I didn't need it since the wait was only 20 miuntes - well the single rider line wait was 5!

We already had a FastPass for Soarin' in hand, so we weren't able to get a FastPass for Test Track. The standby line was something like 30-40 minutes so I suggested to DH that we use the single rider line at Test Track. We waited less than 10 minutes, and he was in the car right behind me.

This is fantastic to know! Mom and I are going at the height of summer- beginning of August- and we have differing opinions, or rather stomachs, when it comes to thrill rides. (She gets sick just watching the carosel!)

I am going to want to ride EE and RnRC but we don't think her tummy can take it. I hated the thought of her sitting there for an hour waiting for me- sounds like this will be the perfect solution!

<---- Also a fan of single rider line! Me and DBF used this when Standby was horrendously long.. both of us got on the same train within 5 minutes of entering the queue!

I was just there and used the single rider line two times. The first time, I was pulled to ride in the front seat. As I was walking to the front seat, I was talking to the guy I was riding with. He happened to be the record holder for riding EE. The ride we rode together was his 2,632nd ride. Pretty cool. So, yes, they take single riders from the single-rider line for the front seat.

This is great info! I am making a list of things to do when I take my solo trip (which I've been threatening for the last 2 yrs. I think dd has finally accepted it.) She refuses RnRC, ToT and EE, although she went on EE once and said it was AWESOME!, but I asked if she wanted to go again, and was answered with a very emphatic "NOOOO!". Ah, well....

I'm hoping for late October, when it's not so freakin' hot.

My kids rode all the single rider attractions to their hearts content a couple of weeks ago. My DD10 even rode by herself. The boys each rode EE at least 25 times on our AK day. They didn't do anything else all day. They did the same thing at Disneyland on Screamin, last year. They lost track of how many times they rode. My boys say it is a great way to meet new people.

I was in the single rider line in January and asked if I could wait until they needed one for the front car. The CM said sure and about 5 people later there was a party of 3. One wanted to ride in the front car and the other two didn’t so the CM told me to go ahead. I think it just depends on how crowded the park is and how generous the CM is feeling. I would think though that most times it will be a while before you get in the front car even if they let you.

I have to point out that this was my third time through the single rider line in a row and I just got the idea because I say someone else do it.
