Nope, I think it's pretty old. I just loved the old logo design.

Darn. You got my hopes up there for a minute John! You're right, though. It is an old logo. I'm gonna need to think on this for awhile. That may take some time. According to Rog, I'm crazy. and funny looking.

I know! It's exact location is:
N 28° 23.758 W 081° 33.199

I do geocaching and waymarking as a hobby. Actually there are many of these survey markers all around WDW property.

Yep, that is where the marker is, on the ramp to the outpost. I am not sure about the coordinates though.

Your picture is the Lawnmower tree, by the marina. On a side note, when did they cut the top of the tree off, it looked fresh.

Lawnmower tree - by the playground near the marina.

ETA: Dagnabit! I thought I was gonna be the first one, but RVUsa beat me to it.

there's several markers. I know of a whole lot throughout the property. Of course when you've walked Animal kingdom a million times working there for over a year and a half, you kinda notice everything on the ground.
Although i prefer camping mom's answer the best.

I saw the top of the lawnmower tree getting cut off. DD and I stopped in to have lunch at TE and when we were stopping in the Outpost down it came.:sad1:

When was that? At least they left the bottom, but it seems kinda strange now.

We were there in October and it looked fresh then. Wish we were going back very soon, but with the price of diesel, chances are slim for a while!

That's too funny since the only one I know of is on the walkway around the now closed Odyssey restaurant just before you get to the bridge going to the WS walkway to Mexico. I'm sure there are hundreds if not thousands of them everywhere around WDW, I just don't make a habit of looking for them.

Why'd they cut it down? :sad1:

I read they cut it down to kill it so the lawnmower would not completely disappear.

No the top was pretty much dead. It looked like either lightning or bugs had gotten it. The guy who sawed it down said they couldn't take a chance of a branch falling and hitting someone.
