We are on the way home :(

Just wanted to let everyone know, we are on the way home. We wanted to stay tonight at the fort, but they said they didn't have any openings. The ENTIRE 1900 loop was empty at 11, there was only about 5 people in it. There were at least 6 spots in our loop, and when we went to look for tony on the 800 loop and there were at least 10 open. So we packed up our stuff, and got on the road at about 11:30. We had to drive thru some torrential downpours, and some lousy traffic. We at a KOA in south savanah ga. We arent pushing it. We don't need to be back until monday morning, but will make it by sun afternoon. Got here a little bit ago, and it wasn't raining, figured that we could do some exploring, but as I set up the camper, we were overrun by bugs. YIKES, so were are holed up in here for the evening, but for my $35 I got 125 cable channels, and wifi if I wanted it. Dw is feeling realy crappy, and I didn't get rid of the kidney thing. So relaxing isn't a bad thing.

We got back late last night, and there was a green mickey head and a note from tony, I went by this morning, and he had already left. The only dis'r I got to meet was BXTX and her family, they were really nice, and they said that they loved the mickey light that I made for them. I have some digital pics to upload, if I can find the cable I will do it in a little while.

Hey John I'm new here but I feel your Disney Let Down so to speak. It's always at least a little sad when you have to leave.

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well, I hope you and your DW get to feeling better quick and that you don't have a lot of discomfort in the meantime.

I've read a lot of your posts and you are very helpful to a lot of people and your enthusiasm for camping is contgagious.

Take it easy over the next couple of days. I know you are sad to leave, but you can relive every moment when you share it with us through pictures!!!!! Then, just start planning the next trip, visit the forum every day, and you will feel better in no time! Well, the WDW Blues will feel better. That kidney/strep thing is a different matter completely, so get to a doctor, OK?

RvUsa: If you are heading to PA, I just wanted to warn you ... we live in southwest Ohio, and we are currently experiencing blizzard conditions (we have a blizzard warning until 4 p.m. on Saturday). :eek: We are expecting over a foot of snow. It's a pretty big storm coming up from the south, which I'm sure will end up over PA. Better watch the Weather Channel!

I know just how you feel. we left Tues, got home Wed around 7pm. Lone star is right, the best thing to cure the fw blues is start planning the nest trip. We have our reservations in for nest Feb! Patst

We made it to Wytheville, Va tonight, it was a rough day traveling, lots of wind made it miserable to drive. We figured that we would hole up here tonight to let the roads clear up home, they are supposed to get more snow tonight, My dad said they got about 10" so far. YEAH. well talk to "yins" later.
