that Disney started this whole pin business. Like CMs aren't busy enough fielding reservations calls. Now they've created this mass confusion of "do I or don't I have a pin attached to my name. Let me call today and ask again". :)

Disney should stick with public, VISA and AP codes. Or in a perfect world, I wish they would institute a frequent visitor program. Disney, quit making it so darn hard on everyone!

But DIS members are probably the only ones aware of the codes-- by no means all of the population!

There are lots and lots of people out there, paying rack rate because they're unaware that any other options exist. It doesn't occur to them to call and ask about codes because they have never heard of those codes.

That is true about lots of people paying rack rates, but I knew about codes in 1999, way before my membership to the DISboards. I can't believe it took me so long to find this place! ;)
