Does the military discount cover military reservists as well as active duty? Also what about retired military? Shades of Green does. I can't find this info any place else. Can someone help? Thanks

Yes. reservists are included, as long as they can produce ID. Same goes for retired military.

HTH!

As long as you can provide proper identification that you are either a resevist, enlisted, or retired, you can use the discount. An ID, paystub, or letter on official letterhead will all do the job.

Thank you for your replies. A few more questions - Can a spouse with a dependent military ID card use the military discount? Also is the price of the room comparable with the teacher/nurse discount ($129)? Thanks a lot

The rate is the same, but, the last I heard, the employee/reservist/military personnel/etc had to be present, as the discount is offered for that person.

Thanks for the reply. At SoG a dependent with a valid ID card can get a room, so I wasn't sure if the same applied at the S/D.

Yes, if your spouse is on active duty, the Dolphin will give you the military, I know of tweo times it has been done. Let me double check and I. will get back to you...but I think you will be fine

I am a dependent wife of a retired military person and they let me have the discount because I had an ID card. I think the ID card is the key. Hope this helps.
