Both of SIL are thinking about cruising with us next May. They both have twins - one set will be 2 1/2 and the other will be 3 1/2. Is there a club for their ages? Is it just babysitting? Anyone with any info I can give them would be wonderful!!
Thank You so much

The 3.5 year old can go to the Oceaneers Club. Grouped 3-4 year olds. Must be potty trained. My daughter was just in that this past Feb. She loved it. Younger then 3 they can make ressies at Flounders's Reef Nursery. Get there early because it is booked on a first come first served basis. they will call you each night to confirm the next days ressie. You have to let them know ahead of time what times you want for the entire cruise. I also used this and my son 7 months old loved it. I used Flounder's mainly 6-12pm. We had a blast going down to the route 66.:D

We took our boy/girl twins on DCL for their 3rd birthday's March 2001. DD who is outgoing loved the kids club, but DS who is shyer really didn't like it. It was still easier for us to have 1 child tagging along vs. our usual 2 for the evening shows. I would tell them to be prepared that since the kids are young they may not want to stay in the clubs. I had to cancel Palo's brunch and dinner and Surial Bath ressies due to DS. I have to admit that I wasn't too happy at first about it, but I delt with it and we had the vacation of our lives. We went again Sept 2001 and DS stayed 3 times and participated in the children's show, but we again had to cancel Palo's ressies. We're going again May 2002 and fingers crossed-I'll make it to Palo's this time!

We have traveled on two 7-day cruises with our son. The first year he was 21/2 so we utilized Flounder's nursery. The staff is great and although it's a "nursery" they still have enough toys to entertain the toddlers. Last year he was old enough for the Oceaneers Club. He really enjoyed the "free play" time but seeing how he's not in daycare he had a bit of a hard time with the more controlled activities. Between the Personal Navigator and the beepers we were able to work around this and all had a wonderfull time. Enjoy your cruise!!!
