Thank goodness someone else who is asking about Enchanted :)

My DD has sent me on a mission to make sure everyone asks "Where is Giselle?"

I had no idea what you were on about when you kept saying to ppl to ask at city hall.

I have yet to see the film- but i think i will enjoy it - its looks rather funny in the advert.
I believe they have added some of the characters at WDW, i'm sure i read that Giselle was in a parade there. Would be interesting to see if there is much stuff at DLP, but i havent seen anyhting to indicate she may have any presence at DLP

well i shall certainly ask where giselle is!!!she deserves to be there as much as any of the newbies!!!they have the ratatouille characters so dont see why they wouldnt have giselle and co.!

oh tigger300686 ya have to see it!it's like a all the princess films rolled into 1!

i read somewhere that disney didnt want to include giselle in the disney princesses cuz they would have to pay the actress who played her too much royalties so maybe that has something to do with the lack of her in DLP...pity though cuz i'd love some enchanted goods!!!

I've written to guest relations and to the shareholders club because; never mind that the film as brilliant, this is a big deal.
Introducing a new princess to join the likes of Snow White, Aurora, Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, Jasmine, is a major thing. The Disney Princesses are a massive franchise for Disney.
The fact that Giselle wasn't just a character from a movie but introduced to this exclusive club means that DLP should not short change anyone :)

Apart from the fact that my DD will spend most of our 2 weeks telling everyone/CM/peage attendant etc if Giselle is not there. WE are under pressure here :rotfl: :upsidedow

Wow a child on a mission - it is fantastic to see she is truly disneyfied ;)

Have you had an answer from anyone? I wonder if she has arrived at WDW also?

When we were there in February there were quite a few bits and bobs. DD had a lovely Giselle doll for 16euro, a very cute white pen with fluffy bits at the top(would appeal to you if you were about 6(Same age as DD!) and a beautiful dress which was 75euros:scared1: ! Dress was lovely but no way I could justify paying that much for a dress-up outfit.

I agree that she should be around, but...

***spoiler***
She isn't really a princess! She never actually became one, though her spirit is as princess-like as they come :-) Of course, Tink isn't either and she gets thrown in all the time too. I suppose, this isn't a good point to make afterall...

interesting point i guess...but i still think she should be in their class, but i would say that *** I think they should have heroines, like pocahontas and mulan, it'd be great to see tink, jane, alice and co wandering around too!

Alice can be seen wandering about, in Fantasyland, along with Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

that sounds like it could be the reason, what a shame if that's the case, this Amy so n so seemed to be so delighted to be a 'DisPrincess' in interviews, maybe she'll just let them do it for free out of the kindness of her Princess heart?!:confused3

she did, didn't she!...she also mentioned in interviews that julie andrews is her idol...so perhaps shes trying to take a leaf out of julies book so they can kerching together...?
