Hi everyone, I posted this on the community board and they suggested you creative disers might be able to assist!!!

I am planning on getting us printed personalised tee-shirts for our trip in June / July this year.

I want to get a simple Mickey Ears picture for the back and wondered if anyone has any ideas?

I assume if I do an online search (i.e. in google), anything that comes up with be copyrighted? I could draw my own and create an image that way but it might look rubbish!!!

Any thoughts???

Thanks!

There has been a lot of discussion on this board of late about copyright. Basically, if you make the tee shirts yourself for your own personal use you are fine. The disigners on this board (myself included) are skirting the issue by not getting paid. However, the designs are not for our own personal use so we are "sort of" violating the copyright, not the spirit but the letter. No one will probably say anything as long as we don't take money for it.

Enter your screen print shop. They cannot put anything on your shirt that has been copyrited because they take money for doing the shirt. Unless, of course, they have bought a license, but that's another issue.

Hope this helps.
