My 2 boys, DH and DS take their mini golf in Orlando very seriously, soooo competitively, dd is the official scorer whilst I am the photographer.

We have visited Fantasia Gardens and plan to do Winter and Summer Blizzard Beach this year.

DH would like to know how these compare, good times to go, we're there in July, and tips to make sure he wins.

Has anyone played Bonanza Golf on the 192? We're staying right close at the Clarion.

Thanks

Hi Jessie

We haven't 'done' any of the Disney Mini Golf, or the one along the 192, but we did do the Pirates Cove (?) one along International Drive and had a good few hours of great fun :)

We have been past there several times and it never seems busy - but we haven't been in July so wouldn't know for sure about that time of year. Definetly worth a look in - and you get a discount voucher in one of those Voucher Booklets that you get in the Restaurants etc. or on the Maps :) :)

Have fun!

Oooh, yes - we've done the Pirate's Cove one on I-Drive a couple of times and it was great fun. Try it at night when it's all lit up. I think there's one somewhere along the 192 as well. We're going to try the Winter Summerland (or is it Summer Winterland  ) one this time.

Sorry, can't help with your question, just wanted to ad that we did Fantasia Gardens for the first time last trip and LOVED it!

We went at night and had a great time (although DD1 and I were bitten to bits  ), but I don't know whether I would enjoy playing in the heat of the day.

Hope somene can help with the Bonanza question.

Just a few more questions from a first timer -
What sort of time to these mini-golf places stay open till at night?
How much time would you need to play?
What sort of price are they?
Which one would you recommend for our first trip in May?
Thanks

We played Winter/Summerland in October and loved it, especially at night when it is lit up. There is a Pirates Cove on I Drive and one at Crossroads and we played both of those, again very good, well themed and cheaper than the Disney ones. Can't remember how much they are but the Disney ones are expensive.

We did Pirates Cove on I-Drive , it cost about $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for children. We forget the discount book when we went :-(

henrydog - they stay open quite late, until 10 or 11pm. I can't remember where you are staying, but there a quite a few different ones along the 192 and they all look good - especially when they're lit up.

Thanks for that guys, I think the boys will probably try the Winter and Summer (I can't remember the full names either Deb:rolleyes: ) as I said the competition gets tough!

I think we have found generally the mini golf to be quieter in the daytime, we were able to spend ages in Fantasia Gardens one afternoon and have some lovely photos and video.
