We found out this morning that we passed ROFR!!!! We are soooooo flippin' excited!!! I can't wait to go "home" to OKW!!!!

We're hoping to make our first trip home in August. We're planning on taking my mom and step-dad along with us for their anniversary. Do you think we'll have any problems getting a 2-bdrm?

Right of First Refusal. Basically it's when there is a resale, Disney gets to look at it first and if they think the price is too low, they can buy it instead. On our contract, Disney passed on it! :cool1:

We booked a 2BR last August at SSR and did so in March (which is 5 months out). Late August is probably easier (many kids are back to school). OKW and SSR are the 2 largest resorts so I'd guess you wouldn't have a problem. When do you think you'll be in the DVC system and able to make reservations? I know the time line is longer on a resale than through Disney. If it's within a month to 6 weeks, you should be OK.

We're hoping to be in the system by the 2nd week of April. We're planning on going August 18-26. We would only have the 2-bdrm Aug. 18-23 and then switch to either a 1-bdrm or a studio (we haven't decided on that yet).

Congrats!!! We've never gone through ROFR, but I know that the waiting would drive us crazy!
