A news release today from BA, they are increasing their flights to Tampa, from April first they will fly 4 times a week direct London/Tampa. They are also increasing the number of Club class seats on each flight.
I found Tampa quite a nice airport to fly into, certainly a lot quieter than Orlando. It's slightly longer to drive to and from , maybe an extra 30 minutes but if it offers a reasonable saving it's certainly worth looking at JMHO

Perhaps if they offered seats from Tampa a bit more reasonably priced it could cut some of the heavy flow to/from Orlando airports.

Well this will be good news for some peope - a friend of mine always uses Tampa Airport as she prefers it to Orlando and actually arranges her holiday dates to get flights into there. :)
I was told that the airport is reported to have won a major award a couple of years ago for being the best US Airport! I wonder if this will change with a larger flow of traffic :)

Thanks, Vernon. It will be interesting to see what the prices are like. BA Club class is majorly expensive and they don't offer their World Traveller Plus on the Orlando route. Wonder if it will be available on this one?

A competitive price would certainly make this an attractive competitor for the Orlando market.
One to keep an eye on, I think. Thanks Vernon.
