Boardwalk Villa Views

I have a reservation for BWV and it says "Garden/Pool" for the vacation home type. Although that is a "preferred" view, is it different that a Boardwalk view? If I want a Boardwalk view, do I need to call in and make a new request? :confused:

Boardwalk view is a booking category, so yes, you would need to call and request it.

Preferred views go last. Folks either request a standard view to save points OR a Boardwalk view for obvious reasons. The preferred view and the Boardwalk view are the same number of points, so most folks will request the Boardwalk view.

The Preferred View category has two subcategories: Pool/Garden View and Boardwalk View. The Boardwalk view is not a request, it is a guaranteed booking category. You can call MS and ask if there is any availability for your dates and you can ask to waitlist for the Boardwalk view if it is not currently available.

Boardwalk views are the best in DISNEY IMHO!
