Posted this on Restaurant board but didn't get any responses. Trying here with all of you S&D fans!! Would you pick Garden Grill (Swan) or Coral Cafe (Dolphin) for breakfast?

We've been to both and we loved the character interaction at garden grove (weekend breakfast) The characters sat in the chair for quite a while interacting.
We liked the food at the Coral a little more. There was a wider choice choice at the Coral as well. There were plenty of baked goods which were pretty good. A whole japanese breakfast section for the adventurous (I didn't venture)
They both had place where the chef made eggs any style you wanted, both also had fresh fruit, cereals, baked goods. bagels, pancakes, waffles, yogurt.
Which ever you choose, don't forget your Disney Club card for a discount.

We just returned and I think the Coral is better. The food and service were better overall there, both at breakfast and dinner. The baked goods, especially the brioche, were wonderful at the Coral. It is also brighter and, I think, more comfortable. The eggs Benedict we had at the character breakfast in the Coral this past Sunday were the best I have ever had.
I loved Garden Grove for a few reasons. The buffet was awesome. They had great food and stuff made to order fresh in front of you like omlettes and crepes. I also liked that we had characters for my kids, and they loved that. The atmosphere was so relaxed there, and I love the domed roof.
I have never done the Coral Reef though, so can not compare.

I really enjoyed both of them when I went in December. I
alternated on them both every other day. I was solo. And yes,
don't forget to use your Disney Club card for a minimal discount.

...with Coral Cafe. It seems that the characters really spend alot of time with the "little ones" and the selection of food items is GREAT. (It doesn't compare to Chef Mickey at CR but it was worth going to for at least one breakfast).
