When calling up see if there are any pin codes attached t our names,is it better to simply ask the question "
"Are there any pin codes"
or
Is it better to give them exact dates when you want to stay ?
Thanks

I've found it works both ways...if you ask if there are any discounts available to your family during (x) time...it'll get to the point more quickly!:thumbsup2

I agree with the above poster. Also, I always mention that I have my credit card handy and am hoping to book a great deal. I don't know if they work off commission or not, but I think they try a little harder if they know you are actually going to book something.
By the way...I'm booked at the Poly with the 40% code:yay: .
I went throught the entire process. I asked about a quote for 2 rooms, for 4 adults 3 kids, 7 nights. We put in everyone's names, kids ages and was just about to seal the deal -- which I would not have done without a discount. After the CM gave me the price I asked if there were any discounts associated with anyone's name in our party. He took a look and said yes there's a discount and quoted me a room per night price. Being quick with the prices, I said that's about 30% off, and he said yes. I said that's a good price, but I know someone who recently got a 40% discount, do we qualify for that one? He looked and said yes. I whipped out the cc so fast and sealed the deal. Yes I took the long way, but it worked out for me, the CM and I connected and he was very good and thorough.

I just tried calling on Saturday 3/1/08. I know the dates I want to go, 8/10/08 so I asked for any codes starting that date. I have read there are codes out there for those dates. The cm took all of our names, but said I had no codes for my household. I was ready to book if I had one, but I am still playing the waiting game either for free dining or a code.

Last month I ordered a planning DVD and recieved a 20% off pincode. I also ordered one for my mom a few weeks ago and she got a 30% off code.
Too bad they are not good during summer when we are going. I'm not sure I want to push the trip back to late October and take the kids out of school just to get a discount.

:sad1: :sad1: :sad1:
I finally worked up enough courage to call and ask if there are any pin codes attached to me. There wasn't.

to "so are you" for posting the dates that the 40% pin codes were for and to "sneadae" "campbellscot" and "n2mm" for posting about how to ask for (and get) the codes applied to you. I booked my vacation for October 19-23 last night and was able to get the 40% applied!:cool1: My niece is going to be soooo excited to find out she's going to WDW for her birthday!:woohoo:
