I just bought my Kolcraft double wide unbrella stroller. It really nice, allowing 1 child to sit up if the other one is reclining. It has a seperate canopy over each seat. There is no basket, but, I have a stroller bag for the back. It was $54.00 at Target. I have a 4-1/2 y.o. and a 1-1/2 y.o. and was debating the whole 2 stroller, 1 stroller, rent a stroller thing, but, decided that my 4-1/2 y.o. definitely tires easily, especially walking around on a hot sunny day. I think they'll like to be next together. My 4-1/2 y.o. asked if we could go to the mall to test it out!

Good decision!
We did the same. We haven't been able to use it much yet but can't wait for our next trip to the mall.
Mine are 5 and 2. I also bought a stroller bag for $6.
I LOVE how it folds up to almost the size of a single umbrella stroller!
I'd rather have my own than rent.
Good luck!

We have the Kolcraft stroller that you mention and we also have a Sit n' Stand. I'm not sure what to do because this trip we have 3 DDs, 5, 3 and 8 mos. Last trip the baby was just 3 mos. so it was easy to carry her in a front carrier and use the double for the other two but I'm not sure what to do this time. We'll probably bring both strollers, I guess, because the Kolcraft folds up small and we can just attach it to our Sit n' Stand and pull it out when we need it.

I really just wanted to bring 1 stroller with for my 2 kids. If we rented 1 stroller per day that we're there it would have equalled the Kolcraft umbrella stroller. I took 2 strollers last year, 1 for each kid, but, I didn't realize til I read a previous thread about this that they made a double umbrella that both sides reclined.
You do learn some valuable info on these boards!

I have 3-year-old twin boys, and have had this stroller for at least a couple of years. It is one of 3 strollers that we have had, and it is my favorite! We took it with us to WDW last week, and it did as great as usual! We would recommend one to anyone! Yep, you could buy one for the price of rentals.

Is the stroller bag just something that can be found at Target too? I was thinking of bringing 1 umbrella stroller, and 1 full size for ds 4 & dd 2.5, but just might choose this one instead if I can load stuff on it too.

Any info on the stroller bag and where to find one?
Does Target sell them?

We got our stroller bags at Babies R Us. They're just mesh bags with elastic loops for hooking on and then clips to secure the loops. They're not as big or sturdy as a basket underneath a stroller, but they worked just find on our last trip.

This is what I've been looking for! I have one 40 lb boy and a 35 lb boy I wonder if it'll push ok? Please post after you've tried it! Also, I'm thinking of using a bag from one of my folding chairs for the stroller if it''ll fit. Anybody tried this?

I had the exact stroller for a trip to WDW in February 2001 and my girls were 5 and 3 (about 40 and 35 lbs.). It was a little hard to push with them being so big. So hard, in fact, that we rented a couple of days.

Great idea! Is the stroller a side-by-side or front-and-back? We'll be bringing 2 boys next year who will be 4 and 2½. We have a Graco double stroller of our own but think this would be too encumbersome. Any comments on that?

Disneyolic,
Stroller is a side by side umbrella, very easy to fold. Individual canopy on each side and each side can individually fold down for naps. No baskets underneath though.

I just bought this same stroller at Target last week too for $49.99. Renting a double for our 5 days would have cost more and I know I'll use this at home. I tried it for the first time last night and it really worked great, it turns so easily. I had my 1 and 2 1/2 year olds in it. They were very easy to push. I am hoping that my 5 year old will also be able to use it once we get to Disney. And it folds up very compactly too.
The only thing is that it lists 70 pounds total as a maximum weight. That's only 35 pounds per kid. I don't want to put my 5 year old in it and have the whole thing break while we are there. Anyone have experience using it with older kids?
