HI! I was just wondering if anyone has found a good youth group or church on or around the housing. I'm a christian( AoG but was raised in non denominational) and woudl really like to be able to connect with other Christian WDWers before I get down there( Hopefully in august for Career Start)

There is a large church in the Little Lake Bryan subdivision, across the street from The Commons and down the street from Chatham Square/Patterson Court. It's adjacent to the outlet mall (Orlando Premium Outlets)

It's the Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine (http://www.maryqueenoftheuniverse.org/museumfrontpage.html). There's more information on churches in the area in the program guide (which you would receive on your arrival day) and at complex front desks.

Also when you get there keep an eye on the mail and different posters that are hung around. When I did the summer CP (A million years ago...but still!) there was actually a church that came to the parking lot across from Vista on Wednesdays and picked people up to go to their bible study. I know some people who went and they all really enjoyed it! Just ask around, I'm sure you wont be the only one looking for a bible study...who knows you can probably start your own!

To the best of my knowledge, no. You may be able to work something out with your local work area, but in most cases they take the "full availability" clause of your application and contract as just that.

Definitely ask recruiting though, that's something worth asking about.
