POFQ does anyone know for sure?

I was hoping that someone would know for sure by now just what is going on at POFQ. I wanted to go to Disney in August or September. If there is no POFQ we may postpone until next year. If the parks are jammed then where is everyone staying with all of the resort closings? Are the remaining open hotels jammed too? Doesn`t sound like any fun to me.

I just called checking on POFQ for JUne and she said not
at this time, but for the fall yes.
I have a room reserved in NOvember.

You might try September as this is fall.

Bookings and park attendence are reaching "normal" levels again (normal being the high levels that WDW has had in the past several years).

Fall/September is a great time to come since crowd levels are typically lower then. The resorts will feel no more crowded than usual - they can't pack More people into them.

When I made the ressies I currently have a few months back, I asked about French Quarter and was told then that it would be open in November. The thing is that you never actually know whats going to happen because every person you talk to at disney is going to give you a different answer. If you look at the other postings on the French Quarter, some people have been told that it will possibly be open for the summer or maybe early Fall.

We had POFQ reservations for June; we were contacted by Disney and told we would have to switch as there was no chance it would be open by then.

But by September, who knows? I'll tell you this--we were offering a substantial discount to switch to either the Animal Kingdom Lodge or the Wilderness Lodge. We took the WL.

If CRO takes your reservation for September and then decides not to reopen POFQ, you may luck out big time.
