I want to make construction vehicles (e.g. dump trucks, a crane, backhoe...) to use as decorations on DS's wall. I plan to cut pieces/shapes out of vinyl with my Cricut Expressions (using Design Studio) to make the trucks. I don't do a lot of paper piecing, so I thought I'd ask you guys. Should I make a "background" shape to stick all the pieces on to or should I just make the shapes and stick them on to the wall? KWIM? This is what his bedding (http://www.olivekids.com/designs_UNCT.html) looks like, to give you an idea of the vehicles I'll be using as my guide. Any suggestions as to how I should attack this project? Thanks!
