What size do y'all use? I use the business size envelopes - are those #10? That's the only way I can get them to print almost on the entire envelope. But I still have a lot of white space - how can I get them to fill the entire envelope, without cutting off the design???
Thanx!

I had the same problem, so in order to NOT waste the envelope, I just ran the design on regular paper and cut it out and then pasted it on the envelope...

The question you are asking totally depends on the software that you are using and your printer. noahdove's way is the way I usually go!

While I have never done it with a photo-type image, I believe the process would be the same.
When you select print, you need to set your paper size to whatever it is. If it's a No.10 envelope (which is standard business size) then that's what you would select. Unless your printer has borderless printing, there will be a grip edge on the side your printer grips from, usually at the top or bottom, I believe. I know my printer does borderless for 4x6 prints but I don't think it does for 8x10. Not sure about anything in between. What most of us do, or at least what I always did, to get around this is put a white border around the outside of the envelope, even on all sides. Does this make sense?
