free cricut cart VENT

Ok - So I have been really patient waiting FOREVER for my "free" ($15.00 shipping) cricut cart. I thought it would NEVER be mailed!
Well I got an email last night stating that it left Utah last night and won’t get to CT until March 6 -:scared1: We had to pay $15.00 for Fed EX shipping and it is going to take that long??? Does this make sense? :confused3 I can get stuff quicker from the regular post office. THIS IS CRAZY - now watch me get one I already have - that would be my luck!:headache:

Actually, I think they are walking it across the country.

I knew all along that $15 was way inflated. When I got the invoice, it broke it down to I think 7.50 for shipping and 7.50 for "handling". I just never thought of it in my head as a free cart, I thought of it as a $15 mystery grab bag cart.

It is a bit ridiculous. At least you heard something, I still haven't heard anything about mine. Tomorrow will be 8 weeks since it was mailed. Needless to say I'm less than impressed with Provo Craft right now. If they do another one other in the future I definitely won't be participating. The one excluse to Walmart is stupid because ours has such a pathetic selection of carts and it doesn't work out to that much of a deal.

Here I thought I was the only one! I'm still waiting on my $15 cartridge, too...I'm glad to hear someone heard back from Provo Craft...need to check my bank statement to see if my check was cashed or not...

by the way - today it the 6th and i still dont have it - i checked the tracking number from FedX and still didnt leave UT - THIS IS CRAZY!!!!

WELL IT CAME!!!! i ended up with Stamped - which is fine - there were only 2 of the ones offered that i didnt have and stamped was one of them. So the wait is over!!!

OMG! Guess what was in my email this afternoon . . . a Fedex notification. FINALLY!!! Saturday was the 9 week mark since it was mailed it. The free one won't be here until Friday, almost 10 weeks. That is just insane. I've never had a rebate take this long before.

I, too, got an email today about a Fed Ex delivery from Creative Express. I sure hope this is my Cricut Cartridge b/c I don't remember ording anything else.

Now crossing fingers I don't already own it!

mine came last week or the week before. i've lost time in the last complete of weeks. but anyways- it was the tags,bags, boxes and more. it was my 1st choice so i was thrilled. i have not even taken it out of the box. it just sitting on my desk. hoping to find some time to play with it!

I think maybe Provo Craft has outsized themselves. They started as a family owned craft store in an old building in downtown Provo, Utah. I used to love going there as a kid with my mom. Then they merged or something with a company called Roberts which is a retail store like Micheals or Hobby Lobby. I miss the old eclectic store in the historic district of Provo.

you are right! but i too am glad i have it! it was the one i wanted ever since i saw what nancy made in the fall for the bake sale (i think that's what it was) she made these adorable cookie holders that i just loved. now i just need to find some time to actually open it and use it!

I finally got mine today!! It was "Going Places", not my first choice but this one is cute and I don't have it already!

:cheer2: YAY! Mine finally arrived! :cheer2: I had my mom go over and open it since my sister and I wouldn't get home until later and I just had to know which one I got. I got my second choice Going Places. I'm happy. I'm glad its one that I can use and not one I already had. Plus I needed shape one to fill up the box with the shape cartridges! LOL

I was paying bills today and noticed I got charged on the 13th!:cool1: I have not received the shipping email yet, but at least my rebate offer did not get lost in the mail like I thought it might have! They got it and eventually i will get my cart. Going Places seems to be the most popular recently which would be great since that is the one I want!
