Ok so the west coaster is alway the last to post things that have been discussed.;)

I am in French Camp, but we are considered Stockton, and on the left hand side you see a letter A that is Oakland where Sean works.
Hello :wave2: Stockton and Oakland. Becky...I think that Rick and I stopped in Stockton last year for a lunch break on our way down from SF to LA last May. Co-incidence?
Philip and I are just across the VA border there in WV between Blacksburg and Bluefield.:cool1:
Hello :wave2: WV between Blacksburg and Bluefield
Before I go watch BB, I will post mine :thumbsup2
http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l120/timoncass/where-we-live.jpg
We live in Calgary, Alberta. Only 45 minutes to the gorgeous Rocky Mountains.
Hello :wave2: Calgery
I'm out looking at car rentals for the Repo right now. Trying to figure if I want to go back to LAX or drop near DL and stay out there on the 16th.
Also looking at hotels. The Fairfield and Best Western Park Place look nice. There is also a boutique hotel for under $100 - something like Hotel Menage.
How many DVC points does DL or PP take again Becky?
DL cost us 38 points a night..more for the other two.
Ditto that. Now let's hear from the rest of our UK friends. :lovestruc
Here tonight..so busy at work. No time for Dis'ing. My O My O My....wasn't it windy today.
Cass - do you get a tv programme in Canada called Ice Road Truckers?
We've been watching it for a few weeks - mad truckers driving across the frozen lakes to deliver supplies to diamond mines in Canada. Its really :scared1: - the ice starts cracking and everything:scared1: - good $$$$ but I wouldnt risk it.
Yes, we watched it Karen and enjoyed it.
Jeff, Becky & Chris...from the D.Side
"Hey folks - wanted to bring your attention to a ticket deal offered by Costco. I told Roger in chat but forgot to tell everyone else. (Sorry pirates, but it's only available to select southern CA zip codes). It's 4 days, non hopper, for $139. A great deal since single day tickets are $66 and 3 day hoppers are $169 (advance purchase price).
Must be purchased by March 16th. All 4 days must be used by the same person, but do not have to be used until 9/30/08.
http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...6*4839*&topnav=
Well.. actually Disneyland just came out with 5 day hoppers for the price of 3 day hoppers ($169)... plus the 5 day hopper comes with an early admission ticket. If ya don't need 5 days worth - then you can still SELL the unused 2 days of the hoppper on ebay! Or I would be happy to buy one pair off of someone as I was hoping to help one of the P-school teachers get disney annual passes through the conversion of a hopper."

Cool!!! :cool1:

We watched it last year. Not as exciting as Deadliest Catch. Have you seen that one? Deep sea fishers in winter! Now that was exciting. You just couldn't help feeling for these guys! Away from families for weeks on end and your paycheck depends on how much you catch! You don't catch enough you may not get a paycheck!
Havent heard of that one - I'll keep a look out for it:thumbsup2
Good luck with the garden plans :goodvibes
He came - I love his design - no price yet though - we've picked the paving we want so he'll price it up for next week - I guess it'll be love the design / hate the price!
I don't think so at all! I would have bought them ;)
Hey, my t-shirts will hopefully be done by Christmas this year - talk about being early! I want to give them as Christmas gifts, along with door signs. I have to do them anyways, and I'd feel goofy asking each family member to give me a few bucks for their t-shirt, but with at least 10 shirts to make, it won't be cheap. Plus, I'll have to break down and buy ink for my printer this time, so that's $50 right there!
What a great idea! - I might wrap Ellis's and Neils up too!
What makes you think I sent it? It came from Mickey, didn't it? :lmao:
(You're most welcome)

Ooooh, I loved those. I had to have one at 10:30 am right when that little hut by the ship opened up. I drank that thing down so fast because we had to head back to the ship for our excursion. Good thing I didn't have to walk a straight line for anyone. :scared1:

Wait, people actually live north of the US?
Isn't that the Great White North. "Take Off You Hoser". :rotfl:
sorry flashbacks to SCTV and SNL or something like that.
Take off eh!
Yeah, there are a few of us north of 49 ;)
Are you into this couples BB much Cass? I'm not really. It was bad enough when CBS was trying to push the "showmance" before, but this is just over the top. Something I'd expect from Fox. Don't care much for any of the houseguests either.
This is what happens when the networks have to struggle for new programming during a writers strike.
I didn't like it at first but now that it's singles I am enjoying it much more. Lots of drama this season :woohoo: Jillian went off on Allison last night at the weigh-in :lmao:
I was just looking at Cass's sight again and we will probably each have 2 shirts, one for getting on the ship with the BOB logo and then I want to do a different one for the 4 of us with the Mickey pumpkin more as the main thing on our shirts for MNSSHP.
I could make another version of that logo and put MNSSHP on there if you like. :thumbsup2

Then it got worse when Alli joined the team.
I have to say, I don't like it when they let the voted off people back on shows.
True. We haven't trashed Kelly yet though. I never felt like the black team had the unity that the guys had. I never felt that Kelly worked during the challenges to help the team and then she is manipulative when it comes time to vote.

OMG ... and enough with the pity party on the black team. They make me want to puke! Brittany, who's absolutely gorgeous sits around feeling sorry for herself all the time; Maggie, who can't seem to get motivated to really do anything (and I didn't like her fibbing on the scale last night - we all know why she didn't lose any weight); and Kelly ... if I have to listen to her talk about being the weakest link one more time I'm going to throw a weight through the television! :rotfl2:
I actually got a big kick out of Jillian's rant last night ... the whole scripted thing with what's-her-face drives me nuts. If I wanted drama I'd be watching PBS or Turner Classics. I watch this to be inspired, not to be manipulated and ohhh-and-ahhh over some bimbo who adds nothing to the show.

Yeah she is a big time baby, and is terrible at the challenges. It's funny those who are great at the challenges can't pull the numbers, and those who are bad at the challenges have the larger numbers.:confused3

I agree ... they were a very odd couple. And it's obvious he still has feelings for her ... if I were his current significant other and were watching this show I think I'd be packing my bags (who needs a man who's got his mind on another woman???). He seems like a jerk anyway.

I think I like Dan the best --- he's gotten kind of cocky but I think some of the wind got knocked out of his sail last night when he saw how close he came to falling below the line. And he's just such a cute kid ... he and Bernie are the two players I like the best.
I also liked the married couple that was eliminated fairly early on ... Mallory and Curtis ... is that right? They worked their butts off and seemed like genuinely nice people. I was hoping that he was going to get to come back last night (him or Bernie).

Did you have a hard time getting tickets? Tickets go on sale this Sat. morning for the Jonas Brothers concert here in Milwaukee at Summerfest on July 6 and Rach is afraid they will sell out in seconds like the Hannah Montanna concert did. She would much rather see the Jonas Brothers though so she is really hoping to be able to get tickets this time!

I am trying to find a load of different types of restaurant for xmas time *** we always choose our favourites otherwise. We're not into fancy pantsy places, and it has to be kid friendly (or at least kid tolerant!) - suggestions?
We have eaten there. Very entertaining. They had people on stilts walking around the restaurant the entire time. And lots of other things going on also.

GO GIT CHA MOMMA
A redneck family from the hills was visiting the
city and they were in a mall for the first time in
their lives. The father and son were strolling around
while the wife shopped. They were amazed by
almost everything they saw, but especially by two
shiny, silver walls that could move apart and then
slide back together again.
The boy asked, "Paw, what's at?" The father (never
having seen an elevator) responded, "Son, I dunno. I
ain't never seen anything like that in my entire life,
I ain't got no idea'r what it is."
While the boy and his father were watching with
amazement, a old lady in a wheel chair rolled up
to the moving walls and pressed a button. The walls
opened and the lady rolled between them into a small room.
The walls closed and the boy
and his father watched the small circular number above
the walls light up sequentially. They continued to
watch until it reached the last number and then the
numbers began to light in the reverse order. Then the
walls opened up again and a gorgeous, voluptuous 24
year-old blonde woman stepped out.
The father, not taking his eyes off the young woman,
said quietly to his son,
"Boy..................go git cha Momma..............."

I think there's better software out now, and some iron on transfers even come with trial software to use. But, I think it's going to do the trick for this project, at least.
Well, what do you know Jen, that's the same program I have been using for years myself. I keep wanting to upgrade, but never do it.............:rotfl2:

This school year has been tough, a few days before school was to scheduled to start, a very dear friend of Angelina's drowned trying to help rescue someone else. Angelina had gone to the Homecoming Dance with him the year before, and they even dated for a short while, she took that loss very hard.

Cool! maybe I can ask for some pointers, then! I'm still learning to use the thing....I'm starting early this time so I don't get frustrated and quit. Last go-around, I designed my door signs in Power Point and the t-shirts with the free software that came with the iron-on transfers because I got frustrated with Paint Shop. I can't figure out how to get the Disney/Waltograph font into the program, if it's even possible.

Mornin' All. Kind of bummed out this morning. A classmate of Angelina's (age 18) died yesterday. It seems as though he got into a fight and another kid (age 17) stabbed him with a steak knife, the young boy died three hours later at the hospital. So sad.............:sad1: :sad1: :sad1:
The boy's funeral is being held tomorrow because the school's Senior Trip leaves early Saturday morning for WDW.

Man, it's been so long, but I think I remember something about having to ZIP the fonts in, I don't even remember how to do it. I did take the Dinsey fonts out of my program because someone told me their computer got a virus from one of the Disney fonts, so be very careful.

I don't see him. I see Neil. at the top far left by the light.
Is he behind you and beside Scott?
Hey Nancy,
When I was reading back I saw someone post about the Castaway Club gift for 2008 and I remember you asking once if anyone had any extra lanyards. Just wondering if you got what you needed.
Hopefully some fine BOBers that are CC members came through for you. Sorry, Karen stole ours. :rotfl:
Not sure if they'll be in the bags/gifts when we go in August.
Jeff/Nancy - the article I read said that the lanyards were still being given out, but no pins for trading.
I don't see him. I see Neil. at the top far left by the light.
Is he behind you and beside Scott?
I'm not sure where he is Shelly, but the top of the head behind Robin looks familiar.:rotfl:

I used to collect WDCC...... got tons of the stuff but had to stop *** we ran out of foom and Ellis was born so it all had to go into glass cabinets away from little fingers.
I also collect xmas ornaments:rolleyes1 (as some of you already know from my house photos!)
I also collect disney number plates - got about 30 but nowhere to put them. We're going to display them in Ellis' playroom/garage (when we get round to it. )

I have a small collection of Willow Tree Angels and figurines:

for those of you who haven't seen them...
I am currently trying not to add to any collections as I have a small house and I'm quickly running out of room.
I also collect memories...captured on photos and eventually displayed in scrapbooks for me to enjoy :goodvibes

That was our room last October - a cat 11 on deck 5.
There are 6 "free" window rooms onboard - I was lucky enough to get through the day the bookings opened and grab one of them. All 6 rooms went to us Bobbers!
Jeff, Nancy,Andy Becky, and Walt and Di have the others.
