I would have to chop off a leg to accomplish that!!
What have you been doing? I really should lose weight, but just can't seem to bring myself to do it.
And how do you go from couch potato to exercising?

I was surprized about the size 16's too! I went to Walmart and tried on size 19's....hoping to get into an 18.....the 19's were too big....the 18's were too big....the 17's were too big! SOOOOOOO.....I walked out of the PLUS sized section to the regular section and picked up a bunch of 16's. Most were pretty tight, but I did buy a pair of jeans and a pair of brown cotton pants. I tried on a top too....just to check the size. It was a size large and was a little tight. I am top heavy in the chest and shoulders so I'm not going to buy shirts until I'm smaller.
What have I been doing?.......Well, I do 3-8km a day on my treadmill.....usually 5km really. I do 3km in the afternoon and then 2km more at 7pm while watching Corrie. I lift 5-8 pound weights 2-4 times a week. I take bellydancing class on Friday night. I REALLY watch my food intake. No more than 1400 calories per day and all good food. Breakky is usually 2 slices of whole wheat toast with 1-2 tsp.'s of jam. 10am snack is fruit. Lunch is usually a large sandwich; 2 slices of whole wheat bread, 1 tsp light mayo, 1 slice 30 calories swiss cheese, half a red pepper sliced up on the sandwich, about 7 slices of cucumber on the sandwich and a giant fist of fresh baby spinach to top of the sandwich. It's HUGE and YUMMY! If I don't have that sandwich, I like tuna or a little chicken. About 2 or 3pm I'll have some veggies or melba toast. Dinner can be a HUGE salad with light dressing or Lean Cuisine and salad or a homemade hardy soup....stuff like that. About 8-9pm I eat a cup of blueberries. Sometime I'll snack on crackers and a little peanut butter if I'm really hungry....but usually I'm not very hungry because I'm eating 6 times a day. I drink lots of water and tea too. I liek Crystal Light in my water sometimes. I'll drink Red Rose with a little milk and sugar or Earl Gray or green tea. A decaf sometimes too.
I'm looking forward to seeing size 10-12 again in the summer.

Sandra have you tried the Lee Rider jeans? They are comfy, and I am petite so I didn't have to get them hemmed just bought the petite size.
I couldn't fit into any regular sizes ANYWHERE and plus sizes were too big for me :confused3 but when I started losing weight I went to Old Navy and looked at a size 14 shorts, too big, asked to exchange for a 12 and wore them and they were falling off, then for the heck of it tried size 10 and they fit!! :goodvibes I was soo excited that I fit into a 10 till my friend said Old Navy sizes are big :sad2: I didn't care because I was still in a much smaller size. lol So give Old Navy a try, you might be in an even SMALLER size than Walmart. That motivated me even more. AND they have awesome sales. I got tank tops for 2.99 and my shorts for 12.99 regular 40.00 I think.
At this rate, it might be sooner. Congrats, and you are more motivated than I am, and your food sounds yummy. :woohoo:

Becky! You have done great! How long did it take to lose 160lbs? S
I started last June, so about 8 months. I still have 38 lbs to go.
There is no motivation like results is there?
I have also been taking photos on the first of every month. The results are harder to see in the mirror, but pictures don't lie.
I changed the way I eat....it's all about the protein baby!!
I also started exercising. Gradually of course. Now I do Aquafit 4 X a week, Ellipitical trainer 2X a week ( It makes my thighs scream) and I power walk at least 3 times a week...more as the weather gets nicer.
We have a trip to WDW planned for 2009, I can hardly wait to fly without a seat belt extender, fit into ANY ride and be able to walk around without having to sit down every 30 mins.
Sandra you are doing great and I applaud you!!!

I love watching THE BIGGEST LOSER.
Awesome inspiration on this thread! Everyone here is BEAUTIFUL!
I'm on the verge of being under 200lbs! I got on my digital scale this morning and it read 199! However, I know my scale and I have to get on it three times for the most accurate weight. This morning it read 199,200,200....so I know tomorrow should be 198! My scale is weird.....heeheehee.
Blessings, Sandra
