Only stayed there twice so far - once on the Yacht side, once in the Beach villas. Love the Epcot resort area...Boardwalk's my home DVC...so I often have a lovely view of Yacht/Beach across the way!

We'll be staying in at 2bedroom villa in 56 days!! I love BCV's and cannot wait to get back! Now, if I could just figure out a way to make the 56 days go quickly then slow them down once I get there!

Just discovered this thread and I am loving all the pics. Searching for room pics of BC rooms. A lot of villa photos here. Will have to look some more as it is such a long thread. Staying here for 1st time on 5/15. Called today to book a value as I am arriving, driving, in one day ahead of DDIL and the grandchildren. No values available for that night. So I said what the heck, I'll try deluxe for a treat. CM gave me a list of 4 options and I was contemplating them, then she said hold on, I just got a pop up on my screen. Apparently it was a special deal that comes up in black, on their screens, according to CM this was only the 3rd time it had happened to her. But anyway, it was meant to be and I am staying that night at the BC, for the first time ever, and having dinner, for the first time ever, at Cape May Cafe. I may get spoiled by this special deal!! Not sure if I took the best deal as the other ones were Contemporary Garden Wing, Wilderness Cabin, AKL savannah view (more pricey), and Grand Floridian (even more pricey). I was trying to find something for the 40% off military rate and the BC ended up being the best deal as it was an extra % off too. So I am really excited to see this hotel as I have never toured the grounds and am not sure what the offerings are. A little more research will keep me occupied between now and then. Thanks for all the great pics and info.

Does anyone have good photo of the beach club villas bathrooms? I can't imagine it from the floor plan. Can someone go to the bathroom while someone is using the shower? Are they physically separate? It looks like the tub is in the bedroom without a separate door. Is that right?

No pic but, some answers. Yes there is a door between the toilet and sink/shower. There is also a door between the sink/shower and the jacuzzi. Then yes there is a door between the bedroom and jacuzzi and bifold blinds at the jacuzzi. Alot of doors for privacy every were.

We'll be in a one bedroom villa using the DVC points. Last year my brother came with us and we got a 2 bedroom wich was very nice with 2 full balconies. We're up in the air on wheither we want a balcony or first floor with a patio. Either way, it'll be a blast!

Answer: B & C does NOT take ADR's...it's just first come, first serve. It's a small restaurant, so there are not a lot of tables. I suggest you get there a bit before opening and go for lunch one day, or go for a late or early dinner (avoid popular eating times ;))

Do the daybeds at BC actually pull out - or are they just the size of the couch? Does anyone have a pic of the daybed at full size? I'd like to see how tight the room is with it in use!

Sorry no pic but I can tell you that when they are pulled out it is about the size of a full bed. I think an adult and child under 8 can sleep comfortable on them. My husband and son did that a few years back. He didn't think it was too bad but then again he is not that picky.

To all of you who are going to Y&BC soon.....YOU ARE SO LUCKY! We were there in May (15th-25th) and it rained every day except one day at the begining and one half day at the end. BUMMER! Who would have ever thought....UGH! Anyway.....I am having total withdrawl and want to go back soooooooo bad. I am hoping to book a trip for next August and would love to hear from those of you that are going mid to late August...how it was? We have been going in May for the last several years but feel that my girls are in highschool now and I'm not comfortable with taking them out of school any longer. I'm afraid that August (last two weeks) will be too hot and too crowded.:confused3 I refuse to go during school vacations (February, January, and April) as it is too crowded.

Michelleiada - We usually go the week of Memorial Day and it is hot! But we've also gone Labor Day week which is no hotter. I'm thinking mid to late August will be the same. It's not July that's for sure! I've gone the middle of July and thought I would die from heat exhaustion. Our little guy starts school this year and we are sighting out times of the year to go too so that we don't have to pull him out of school either. I'll let you know how it is, because if we can handle it we may go again next year in August also. :wizard:

Beach Club Villas Studio with Twin Mattress

Just wanted to post these as I had looked for something similar when we were planning. As you can see, there is ample room for the inflatible at the end of the pull out sofa. (In fact a larger mattress could be accomodated, but would fit slightly under the sofa.)

We'd moved the other chair to the alcove next to the entrance in case you're wondering. :) I have other pictures of our room, but they are pretty much the same as I have seen posted previously.

As you can see there are black dots, this is dust that was on the image sensor of the camera. I didn't notice it till I put them on the computer. I still have tons of SAB pics. I went out very early in the morning & do believe that I took just about every angle possible. LOL! I just know it was hard to get an idea of the size of this enormous pool just from pics and wanted to try and get as many angles & details as possible. Also have lots of the shipwreck & slide. I even got to see how they get the sand in a mound/dune since I was up at the crack of dawn to see this special treat ; D

I also got to meet Teena & Art and have pics with both of them too!!!:cutie:

We meant to do Beaches and Cream so many times during our last trip but never even went in till out last day. When we got in, we found out they weren't on the DDP :scared1: and we had a bunch of credits left over so we went over to Hanna's for lunch and headed to the airport from there. Next trip I will have pictures of B&C, oh yes there will be pictures!

If they still need a Poly Fix, you could always run over to MK do the Poly for a mid-day break :thumbsup2 I'm sure you'll love it at the BC though. If you've seen all the pics on this thread, most of them don't come close to doing it justice.

Not only do I think the resort is very laid back like the Poly, but the location is great too. You have two parks right there near you, plus the boardwalk. We really like that. You'll have to let me know what you think.

Thanks Whimsy! Great pictures. At this time last year I was one week away from a solo work training at the Yacht Club, all expenses paid. It was my dream to visit WDW during Christmas time and I was blessed enough to have it come true. I absolutely LOVED seeing my favorite resort, the Beach Club done up for the holiday's.

It looks like they are really stepping it up now with the new gingerbread house, which I think is a great idea.
