Discount Possibilies

If you already have made a disney package reservation and booked your airfare, i.e 8/23-8/30. Then disney annouces, let's just say free dining beginning 8/24. Would my entire reservation still qualify for the free dining promotion code? Does anyone have any previous expierence with this, with promotions starting around their trip dates:confused: ?

If they offer free dining , you can call and try to have it applied.You may have to cancel and rebook depending on availibilty ( there are a set number of rooms allotted per promo).also, I am assuming you don't already have a discount or promo pkg( like free hopper passes)..because if you did you would have to choose between one or the other..no double discounts:goodvibes In your example, if freedining started 8/24 and you check-in on 8/23 then 8/23 would not have free dining...

Most likely you'll have to modify your reservation to check in on the day of the promotion, 8/24 to your checkout. Then you'll have to book a one day reservation for 8/23 with no discount. You can link your reservations together so that you can stay in the same room, however, you will not get your tickets until 8/24. So you'll have to decide what is important, the first day with no tickets and a discount on the remainder of your stay, or keep your package the way it is. If the promotion starts on 8/24 (as most promotions do begin on a Sunday), they will not bend the rule for checkin on 8/23.
