AAA rate question

Do they give discounts on the packages also? We are thinking of going in 2009 and my Mom is a AAA member. We would probably need two reservations so she could have her own room at POP. Would we be able to get both ressies with her discount applied? And do you do it through a AAA agent, or is there a AAA promo code?

Yes, if there are rooms available with the AAA Magic Moments rate, you do get a discount and you can use it on a package. There are a finite number of rooms though, so book early if you want the AAA discount. I'm not sure how many reservations a member can make, but your local agent should be able to help. For some reason I don't think the AAA discounts are available for 2009 until August of this year, but I could be wrong.

I'm in Maryland and had to book through my AAA agent.

Yes if she books the pkgs in her name.all AAA pkgs must be made with a AAA agent.Room only ressies can be made thru Disney directly.

2009 rates should be out in August if they mirror how it was for 08 rates. You can book a room now and lock your space in, just not the price.

AAA can book room only reservations. AAA is the only agency that can apply a AAA discount to a package w/ tickets (and dining if you wish)
