Does anyone know how you get these 40% discount codes that people talk about.? Is it something that you usually get in the mail and if so how can I get on this list of recipients? Are they codes that can be shared?

I would love to go this year (as we have every year for the past 5 years) but finances are really tight this year and DH says "NO WAY". I am hoping if I can find a code I can talk him into it.

The 40% off promo is a random luck of the draw type promo.They are non-transferable...meaning you can only use it if it is in your name.The best way to boost your odds is to sign up for emails on the disney website,maybe order a vacation planning DVD.They are unfortunately, not a sure thing.Lots of people haven't gotten one.Others have gotten 20 or 30% off instead. The code was sent by both snail mail and email.Some people have called disney and asked if they had a code attached to their name they didn't know about , and have lucked out.I have never have gotten a code despite doing all of thee above...good luck:goodvibes

If you have more then one email address register every email address you have with you and your husbands name. Order the planning DVD with each one. Thats how I got my 40% off postcard. My postcard said "Your dvd is on the way but here is something to help your planning" and it was for 40% off!! I of course can not used it for my savannah view room but its good for standard rooms. Good luck!
