Stitch's Great Excape.
You just sit in a seat and they put a harness on you although you dont move at all.
They spray this NASTY smelling stuff at you. It made me gag. And they did it twice!
You just see this big thing of Stitch in front that moves and all.

It was such a waste of time!!! :sad1:

yeah i though it was ok... all the little girls freaked out screaming when the lights went off which made me think they were getting murdered or something... but i will have to go back and ride it a second time. I never road Alien Encounter but some people LOVED that attractions... :woohoo:

I wasn't a big fan of the Buzz Lightyear ride. The guns don't aim all that well, and I kinda found it boring to be honest.

I totally second the Stitch's Great Escape. It's such a waste of time that I don't ride it even when there is no wait. When they spray that hot dog smell in your face it literally makes me sick. The whole ride is just epic fail!

What's the point of wearing a pocho on a ride you are meant to get wet on,lol. Although they should warn you that Pirates pirate: is a 'log ride' with the rather large splash at the end,

Well, for rides like Splash Mountain, I think people go on them for the ambiance. It's a fun ride even if you don't get wet--ie, why people wear ponchos.

Spectro is the one with the people and characters running around in Christmas lights isn't it??? On the topic of least favorite attractions, I've never been a big fan of the parades. The upside to that though is while the parades are going on, line wait times are down:thumbsup2

Yes. Spectro is the parade with the lights.

I am just the opposite. I prefer the see the characters and the parades over doing the rides (especially when I am by myself). Not saying that I don't do rides at all- I do love rides. It's just that I prefer characters.

I think the problem is that when I was little, my parents shoved parades (inside Disney and out, like the 4th of July parade and stuff) down my throat, so I became really tired of them over time.

I like this thread...my least favorite attraction in Disney World is Sounds Dangerous at the Studios. Unbearable. Although it sounds like most people are talking about MK attractions..in that case my least favorite attraction is Peter Pan. I love Peter Pan the movie, but it drives me insane that the line for the attraction is always like 40 minutes, and the ride is so short and unimpressive. I know it's a classic, but I think it could stand with some revamping.

Other WDW attractions I could do with out...Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Journey into the Imagination, and Narnia at the Studios (just a glorified movie preview in my opinion).

I like most everything else though!

Star Tours and Body Wars. They are both the same basic idea and when they start moving I get sick!!! Don't get me wrong - I LOVE the Star Wars movies, but I always feel like I need a barf bag on those two rides.

Oh wait - Body Wars is gone now  ?

I was pretty upset when I found out the Wonders of Life Pavilion (the pavilion that had Body Wars) shut down. I feel like Disney closed part of my childhood, I mean come one we all remember how health and exercised obssesed everything was back in the 90's. That and the closing of Nickelodeon Studios in Universal Orlando really made me sad. :(

We actually joke with my sister to this day about "chili dog burps" b/c after we rode that ride for the first time, it started pouring and we had to go take cover in Casey's Corner, where hot off the grill chili dogs and fries were being served. She feels queasy just thinking about it lol!

Honestly i feel as though Universal Studios is going WAY down hill...after closing King Kong...Back to the Future...and now nick studios....i live in florida and i feel as though i do not want to pay the money to waste my time....that is just like disney taking away the tea pots or the pirates of the caribbean...such iconic rides. It is just dumb. I rather go to disney than universal. Though when they get harry potter that will be a MUST. :) other than that universal compaired to Disney....there is no competition! Disney always wins! they always have.

I've always enjoyed Universal, it's no Disney, but if you're looking for a bigger version of MGM for an older crowd, I think Universal is pretty cool. Nickelodeon Studios really made me sad though, I mean I remember visiting Universal and running over to Nick Studios and seeing the slime geyser. We used to watch them make Gak and Slime and all that stuff, and now seeing it all gone just makes me really sad.

I agree with:

-Stitch(anyone else feel like their collarbone was breaking when he "bounces" on your shoulders?)

-Buzz Lightyear

-Sounds Dangerous (Outdated! Sounds of the Rainforest at DAK is much more impressive!)

-Honey, I shrunk the Audience (Again...oudated! I loved the original film, but this 3D movie is not worth the time...)

and now, I must add, though I'm sure to get flamed for this:

-Dinosaur ...am I the only person that finds this ride really boring? I ride it with friends, but I don't really get anything out of it...
I do, however, find the technology in it interesting--the animatronics and the ride vehicle itself, but as a whole... :sad2:

I do agree with everyone who said *Stitch*... terrible, terrible.... i've wasted like and hour of my life riding that... i was forced to go on it like 3 times.
BUT i will disagree with you about COP. It's truely an original, and one of the firsts. It was one of Walt's ideas, and it's really interesting how they predicted what the future would be like. i enjoy COP...
I also don't want to ride Star Tours or Dinosaur ever again... i had the WORST headaches afterwards.

What! COP is a classic! Where else on property can you get a 30 minute nap, in the air conditioning, in the middle of the day?
If they want a 2nd ride to get rid of I can think of a couple at EPCOT that are a waste of space. Honey, I shrunk the audience? That is only good the first time once you know the tricks it's just dull.

For me it is Stitch's Great Escape (formerly known as Alien Encounter or the original Mission to Mars) I do think that the Stitch version is more kid friendly. The Alien Encounter was scary.

The only purpose I see to the shoulder harnesses is to keep you from getting up to leave either from fear or boredom.

Well i'm a huge Stitch Fan which is the ONLY reason i went to see this attraction and Stitch's Great Escape was a big disappointment. I dont understand why they have to strap you in and you dont even move.

I wouldn't call this my least favorite ride by any means, but was anyone else a little bummed out by Spaceship Earth when they reopened it this year?? I was never in love with the ride, but it was something I would do and I enjoyed it. When they reopened it though, I was definitely disappointed with the second half of the ride.

On the flipside though, I loved the work they did on Haunted Mansion! For me it was a must do before, and now I think it's even better.

I agree... I also found the ride disappointing... but I believe you are strapped in because of the dark and strobes, they don't want people to get scared (children) and start to wonder around in the dark.

Have anyone of you ever road "Carousel of Progress". The song and the ride drive me nuts.

I'm very behind on this comment... but I LOVE the CoP song!!! That, Pirates, and the Tiki room are some of my phone rings (I have 23 Disney Phone rings). When CoP goes off, I always smile

I haven't been on the new Spaceship Earth yet, but the fact that they replaced Jeremy Irons narration with Judi Dench's voice is just blasphemous.

I'm with everyone else on the Stitch ride. I don't know what was going on, but those shoulder things did NOT stop when they touched my shoulders, so I got shoved down in my seat in this odd position, so when Stitch was 'bouncing' on me, I was whimpering in pain!! The lovely person next to me kept whispering what was coming next so I could be prepared, and I was so happy when she said 'it's almost over'!!! Never ever again for me.

I went on the alien ride the one time I went to wdw and I thought it was so cool! They changed that to stitch? Does anyone know why? It kind of sounds gross not scary like alien was.

Same here!!! (...and for all of my friends) I can't believe collar bones haven't been broken by the harnesses! I discovered that if I slumped down in the seat and bent my elbows, positioning my hands palm up an inch or so above my shoulders, I could bounce the harness up before it could crush me. This is a terrible attraction in sooooooooo many ways... It's really too bad...

I only went on it once but as the things were coming down I pushed up, No idea why I did, just kinda did. This prevented me from having any problem with the thing crushing me, my brother however hated it, he said it was like having somebody hit the pressure point on your shoulder.
