View Full Version : Are you a Disneyland FANATIC?

Objectivity is key here.

I am a total Disneyland fanatic, I can't deny it. If I had a shrink it would probably become part of the analysis!

Honestly, I'm in my mid thirties and I don't have any friends who are as into Disneyland as I am. I love it on so many levels and go several times a month. I go mostly with my girl and my parents who are also all into it, not as much as me but big, big fans. I go occasionaly solo and it is great, I cover tons of ground and always see and notice new things.

If I honestly told my peers in personal and business circles how much time I spend lamenting about Disneyland (I've been a huge fan(atic) since I was first brought there as an infant) and going there I guarantee all of them would think I was a little nuts and way too easily entertained! Nothing could be further from the truth, I'm just a fanatic... just like you!

Long story short. I'm a Disneyland fanatic... how about you?:cheer2:

Oh yes!! Right here! Everyone I know things I am crazy. But I really could care less, everyone has something they love that much. I Mean heck my dh cried when the Cowboys lost, I cry when I leave Disneyland. because we dont live close enough to go all the time, nor have the money( I would want to spend to go all the time).

When I am not there I am planning our next trip. I am having withdrawals. and spend a lot of time here! hahaha I feel at home here, just like most of you all. Its the only place to get my Disney fix so to speak where others do not think I am nutzo

Why I am a Disney Fanatic(how I spent my summer vacation.....lol)
1. I and DF have Annual passes
2.We have gone atleast 15 times in the last 5 months
3.We are having a Disney Wedding
4. I have a Mickey Mouse tattoo
5. When ever we go, we buy a souvineer,my house is starting to look like a shop on Mainstreet.
6.I have a Disney desktop and screen saver(dont all computers have them??)
7.I consider my many Disney shirts part of my regular wardrobe, not for just going to the park
8. I have more than 1 pair of shoes from Disneyshopping.com (uh 3)
9.I have eaten at every restaurant in DLAND at least once.(including 33)
10. One of my dogs is named after a Disney movie character~Flower
11.I have Disney plates and cups that I regularly use(Jack Skellington)
12.When I think of what I want to do "today" Dland always tops the list.
13.When friends and family come to town, Dland is where I always suggest to take them
14.I always plan my outfit the night before we go, I think it is important to dress nice when going to the park, after all, Walt is watching::yes::
15. I have been known to blow off work to go to Disneyland
16. I plan my work schedule around when we are going to the park.
17. When we get to the park we have a "just got here" ritual and "time to go"ritual. The "just got here" ritual is to go to the blue ribbon bakery get 2 coffees in a new Disney cup and 2 big chocolate chip cookies. The "time to go" ritual is we go to the market house and get 2 half coffee half hot chocolate coffees and Df gets a brownie or fudge and I get pretzels.
To deviate from this plan would inturupt the the mouse time continum.....:rotfl2:
18.I have hugged at least one CM everytime I go. It seems to surprise them
19. I take it personally when people make fun of me for liking Disneyland.
20. I feel a personal attack when people tell me how much they HATE Disneyland. It makes me feel sad because , they dont know what they are missing and their lives must be lacking so much joy.
21.I always look for the ghosts at Disneyland the people have talked about saying the park is haunted!:crazy2:
22. I think everyone should visit Dland atleast once, It makes people nicer.
So, in answer to your question, I am a Disney Fanatic!!! And it looks like I am in GOOD company!:cheer2:

Well I'll gladly join the list.....LOL
We too are AP holders and we live about 6 hours away....we have been at least once a month since September of '07 and if I could swing it we would simply go every other week.
My co-workers think I'm a nutjob and so do DBF's but we could less and we laugh at them. :) In a nice way of course but we still laugh. :)
When we aren't at DL we will pull out our pins and just look at and touch them and think about where we will look for our next trip.
I love the Dis because I get my Disney fix without ever leaving my house....and I know there are other fan(atics) here that won't judge me for being a freak. LOL

There are more but I am at work........

i am a disneyworld-holic!! if someone comes in and mentions disneyworld, my heart starts racing and i attack them with questions and info. only the true disney lover gets it. i've been many places and nothing compares to the disney magic and all of the fun. my co-worker sits beside me everyday (10 yrs) and she tells me her daughter wouldn't like disneyworld!!!! a knife in my heart. what child wouldn't like disneyworld? i planned my other co-worker's trip this past Feb. and i couldn't wait for them to get back and tell me all the fun they had and they came back with all these negative things and i was like stop! but too she is a miserable person in general. so there ya go. i've never had a bad trip to disneyworld. but anyways, i live for disney. i'm going to your favorite park this june and i'm very excited, can't wait!!

I have to say I am. So is my dh.

I think our dd (18 mo.) is a future DL addict. She already asks to watch Mickey's Clubhouse on the disney channel by handing me the remote and asking for Mickey. When we took her to the Disney Store to get a Mickey stuffed animal she saw someone in the mall with a Disney Shopping bag and pointed at it and said "Mickey!"

I was so proud I ended up buying her Mickey Mouse AND Donald Duck!

I'm in! We have APs, live about 6 driving hours away and make trips to the Park about 5-7 times each year. People may think we're nuts, but it is our happy place. I think a lot of people come home from a Disney trip exhausted, but we come home refreshed!!!!!! Love it :lovestruc

Me too! Disney jewelry on QVC this morning made my day , I almost cried with joy! It is all I really want to talk about and all I want to plan. Wish I could just give my boys Disney dollars for Easter ! I know I am not alone............the science teacher at the boys school has a DL themed room , and I have a man customer obsessed with Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.
I have new clothes and shoes put away for our trip and am planning on getting more from disney shopping before we go.
My DS8 is following in my footsteps, he just did an awsome report on Walt Disney for the 3rd grade and he wore his Mickey top hat to school today for crazy hat day.
Oh and I sleep under the map of DL ............helps with my Disney Dreams!

I'm in.

Thank goodness my fiance gets it. He's the one who introduced me to Disneyland four years ago and I simply can not get enough. Too bad we live in Canada - DL, for us, is slightly more than a hop skip and a jump away!

Our home is decorated with Disney art and memorabilia, we can frequently be seen in Mickey/Disney t-shirts, both of our desktops and screensavers are Disney-themed, and we are always in the midst of planning another trip (regardless of when we can actually go).

Is there a Disney-holics anonymous? Or should I say anonymouse? ;)

Me too, I've always loved everything Disney. Grew up waiting for Sunday night to come around so I could see my favorite, "Wonderful World of Disney" so I could get my weekly fix. I think it rubbed off on my DD27, she love Disney also. Now we're working on my grandkids.:thumbsup2

Our DHs don't quite get it, so this trip, they stay home, it's just us and the little ones. We're gonna have a blast!:cool1:

Does taking a 7 hour roadtrip this weekend just to tour the Dream Suite count me in?:rotfl2:

I turn all the kids in my family into Disney nuts. My nieces don't think they can go on a Disney trip without me.
I've been to DL & WDW within the same week. Two days apart.
My license plate is AC(heart)DSNY.
I'm running out of wall space to hanging the Disney artwork I keep buying.

Am I allowed in the club?

Count me in! We are only able to go every few years, but we are all big Disney fans. My parents took my brother and I every few years when we were kids and dh and I went there on our honeymoon. That was his first time. This coming trip will be the third time taking our kids. I wish we could go more often, but we live too far away and we couldn't afford to go more often anyways.

Okay, I've only been to DL once but that is NOT enough. I can't wait to return ever though I have no idea when that may be. Dh got sick of hearing me talk about the place so much. I'm not allowed to mention the "D" word so the kids get a big kick out of trying to get me to say it. I'm doing good about not saying the word but I'm getting my fix by reading the boards.

Hi- My name is Kim and I am addicted to Disney.

Disneyland is like one of those additive drugs to me! If I go to long without being there, I go through withdrawals.

I named my DS2 after Andy in Toy Story. My DS1's first word was Mickey. After scary movies, I always watch one of the travel videos or something about Disneyland to make me feel better. I have boxes of brochures, maps, napkins and anything else Disney saved as souvenirs. I carry a pirate purse because I Love POTC!

Please add me to the Disney fanatics club too!

Count me in! Everyone I know thinks our family is crazy that all our trips are Disney! We live about 6 hours away, but make it down to DL 7-8 times a year. We haven't been since New Years, so I am definately in need of a DL fix! We are going at the end of March for spring break. My oldest son is autistic, and he just loves DL, so he is constantly asking me "where are we going in March"!:)

I'm a fanatic too. Thank goodness, dh, ds, and dd are ones as well. My side of the family gets it. My sisters and I are planning to hit all the Disney parks together with our familes. So far we've done Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland. Our next stop is Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea with Disneyworld and Paris Disneyland to follow. A disney trip is so much fun when extended family joins us.

Dh's side of the family just doesn't get it. They always ask, "Didn't you just go there last year?"

I wish more of my love of Disney would rub off on my family, but they humor me though and since I'm the vacation planner of the family, guess where we have been spending most of our time? Last year was a record of Disney travels for us. It started with an innocent question from DD (8) when we were looking at her baby pictures which included a Disney cruise vacation. She asked when would it be her brother's turn to experience a Disney cruise since it looked like she had so much fun in the pictures. What a great idea! We need to be fair to both kids, right? :) :)

I started planning a Spring Break Disney cruise and if we were going to be in Florida, we might as well visit the World! We had a great time and both kids loved the parks so much (my spin) that I had to promise them we'd visit a Disney theme park soon--how about August! Since we're in Northern California, it's easy to visit DL, so as soon as we were back from Orlando, I was planning our DL trip. I was able to convince DH to get APs, so I was already pre-planning more trips to DL around school vacations and staff learning days.

Our next big Disney trip last year was in October when we visited the grandparents in Shanghai, China over Fall Break and since Hong Kong Disneyland was *just* a couple of hours flight from Shanghai, we might as well make a stop in Hong Kong before flying back to San Francisco! We spent 2 days there and stayed overnight at the gorgeous Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. We experienced Hong Kong DL's first ever Halloween festivities and we had a blast.

After the trip to Hong Kong, we had 3 more visits to Disneyland, with the most recent being last week when the kids had Winter Break. Oh, I almost forgot, I took a day off work in November to visit DL solo--I flew there and back the same day. It was a birthday present of sorts. DH wanted to give me a massage certificate from a local day spa for my birthday and I immediately told him that I'd rather the money be spent on $49 Southwest flights to/from Orange County. He humored me and I loved my day at DL since I got to do the rides I wanted (instead of chaperoning DS on the Pooh rides 5 times in a row) and ate the snacks and counter lunches that I wanted (instead of hot dogs & fries).

These days, my co-workers don't even bother asking me anymore where I'm going when I take vacation days! I just love the company on these boards :thumbsup2

I would go every other weekend if I could afford the gas, hotel, and food money it takes for a few days away. I dream of DLR at least twice a week at night thinking I am back and then wake up and get sad! Walt would surely have been proud at all of us..I know this is a fact!:cloud9:

There is just saomething about the original DL park that is so special. Maybe it is the spirit of Walt or just the fact that theme park amusement as we know it really started there. It is historical! I love all the Disney parks but to me DL is the epicenter of Disney park magic.

Two things give me that feeling like I'm a kid all over again; Star Wars (original trilogy) and Disneyland! I'm going to feel that way until the day I die!

Oooh, me too, me too! Disneyland is hands down my favorite place in the world to be. For Christmas next year (2009), I have talked my hubby into PAP's for all of us, and we are hoping to make it to the park 3-4 times a year instead of once or twice.

My 2 year old daughter adores "Mick Mou", and the princesses, while my 5 year old is a Cars fanatic. And please believe this baby on the way already has his fair share of Disney in his wardrobe! :woohoo: Luckily, my husband indulges my fascination, and I think he likes Disney almost as much as I do.

There are definitely our fair share of friends and relatives who hear about our upcoming trip and say "weren't you just there!?". Um, people, it has been 6 months! That's way too long to go without seeing The Mouse!

Me too!! We've had at least 10 pets over the years named after Disney characters. My dogs right now are Daisy and Belle

I have a Disneyland themed bathroom at home...

Collect vintage Disneyland memorabilia...

even in my living room right now I have a pair of vintage Disneyland and Walt Disney World lunch boxes, and my favorite characters as stuffed animals: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Figment...

always have a "We're going to Disneyland" license plate frame on my car and a Mickey antenna ball...

every birthday in our family is celebrated there...

I have 7 trips to WDW, and probably hundreds to DL, and 2 booked Disney Cruises. I haven't even taken the first one, yet I booked a second one already since I am sure I will love it...

Like so many other people have said, it is my happy place. It never fails, when I drive in I start getting excited. I walk just as fast as my kids to that tram! I cry at Fantasmic and the fireworks, it just touches my heart. When my kids were younger, we always stopped off to watch Steamboat Willie before we left. It just relaxed all of us. We've seen them all over and over and laugh every time. There's something about it that is just magical to me.

I am forever trying to bring any relatives or visitors we have to Disneyland so that they too can experience it...

Yes, some people think I am a little obsessed. I think, why not?

In a word - YES! I absolutely am. I can't go a day without finding something on the net to satisfy my DL obsession. From my signature you'll see that I worked there in H.S. and college, and beyond that, started going when I was oh, 1, and have been hooked ever since. My wife and I honeymooned at WDW (not DL, I know, but at least the MK was BASED on DL, and over the years, a lot of great attractions originally opened at DL have made an appearance or incarnation there. I've had an AP for more than 15 years, and get out to CA about 4 times per year (my employer is based in Irvine) - and yes, every single trip includes time at DL. Living in the midwest for the past 6 years has been hard not getting a weekly dose (we lived in Orange before moving to IN) - but the net and all of the artwork in my house - as well as collectibles (dust collectors my wife says) - help with the fix.

At work my screen wallpaper is ALWAYS Disney related - and the shelves in my office are filled with various Disney "stuff"... I have one of those HM toys of the big fig variety, except it's plastic (bought it at EnginEars in DCA in few years ago)- and every time I get up to leave the room for something (printer, restroom, lunch) I have to push buttons to hear Paul Frees say "Welcome", or "I didn't mean to frighten you", or the wolf howling. HM is my FAVORITE attraction - the last time I was there (2 weeks ago, and YAY, I get to back in 3 weeks).

I was there for the very last run through of the Country Bears, I was on the very last spin of America Sings. We ate at Carnation Main Street on it's next to last day. I was there for the 60 hr party for the opening of Captain EO and Star Tours. I was there for the opening of Splash, and DCA. I was there for the 30 hr 30th party - I was there on my grad nite, and many, many different CM events and parties in the 80's. I was in the employee choir for candlelight on the Living Christmas Tree - and got to be a part of the filmed portion of the Christmas parade one year. I was there for State Fair, and Blast to the Past and MANY, MANY more - too many things to list out here.

It definitely has a VERY special place in my heart.

I AM JEALOUS of OP!
Yes, guilty..Disneyland freak since my first visit in 1963. I don't live close enough to have a AP.
As a late age college student I went to the college program presentation..got all the trivia right and quite a few "who's the old freak" looks from other students. I actually thought about going on the program..at 40..but some things came up with the family and I had to be home for the summer. I had hoped maybe to work for Disney,(my degree is a BS in Hotel/Restaurant and Tourism Management) but alot of loud protests from family about living in LA or FL put an end to that. We ended up in Vegas instead, which was great, but not Disney..then we ended up back in NM but oh well.
I used to collect just Disney 'stuff' but now am mainly into vintage Disneyland or Walt related.

I started out very anti-Disney. I went to WDW when I was 3, but I don't remember anything about that trip.

Then about 3 years ago I took a trip to DL and it was okay, but busy from spring break and HOT.

Then last year we moved to Orange County and now that we have AP's and can just go a whim and not have to spend the whole day there, it's one of my favorite places!!!

19. I take it personally when people make fun of me for liking Disneyland.
20. I feel a personal attack when people tell me how much they HATE Disneyland. It makes me feel sad because , they dont know what they are missing and their lives must be lacking so much joy.

OMG. ME TOO. A friend of mine just went to Disneyland this past Friday and she went on and on why she hated it. I was SO OFFENDED. Like she was personally talking about me. It drove me insane. I know people aren't all crazy like us :upsidedow , but don't tell me you were afraid to go on Splash Mountain, and then proceed to say Disneyland is for kids. PLEASE!

Anyways, back to the OP question. I've been a Disney fanatic since I was a tot. I've been collecting Beauty and the Beast things since I was about 15. Everyone but my DBF thinks I AM NUTS about Disneyland and all things Disney and no one can comprehend how much I am in love with this place.. :lovestruc

Add me to the list! I too grew up watching the wonderful world of Disney on Sunday nights but I didn't really "get it" till I was an adult. My first trip to DL was when I was 8 and I didn't get to go that much as a child as my parents didn't have a lot of money. But when I DID get to go I always loved it. I went at the age of 25 and realized that I had really missed out and my parents had never taken me to see any of the classic movies so when I got home I rented ALL of them. Then I made it my quest to buy them all on video. Of course you know about the moritorium thing so it took me several years but I finally had them all. And now since I have had kids of my own I have now made it my quest to replace them on dvd. And I have now got almost all of them on dvd! :)

I didn't get TRULY obsessed though until I had kids of my own.

I took my own kids when they were babies and we started going once a year back around 2000. We took them to DL and then to DW in 2002 and we have been going at least once a year since. And we bought our first AP to DL in 2006. In 06 and 07 we probably made about 4 trips each and although with money being tight we probably won't be able to make as many trips in the next few years I STILL love it.

My kids have ALL the Disney movies, toys, we go to the Disney store regularly and I shop on Disneyonline. We go to all the Disney on Ice shows. You name it we do it, buy it or own it. LOL.

I have several of the Disney Treasure DVDS, especially the ones about Walt or the parks because esp interest me.

I too don't get people that don't love it.

No matter how many times I go I never get tired of it and as soon as I get home I want to go back and I always am planning my next trip. I also come here and go to other Disney sites to get my "fix" in the meantime.

It is just one of the few "good" things in this dreary existence that makes life worth living! :)

I am more of a Disneyland (or theme park) fanatic than I am of the actual Disney company. I like many of the movies well enough - most especially the older stuff - but what I really love is the experience of Disneyland. It is heaven on earth for me as a mom of young children. I plan to go back a minimum of once per year from now on. My DH is starting to get concerned . . .

Our last name is the same as one of the THE MAIN characters so what does he expect????? :rotfl2:

I am a new 'fan'-atic. It is my very favorite topic of conversation, which surprises me more than anyone. I remember a few years ago sitting in a Dr.'s office reading a Disneyland magazine and reading about a lady who loves DL so much that she had her artificial limb decorated in Disney stuff and I thought, "Well, that's just nuts. Who could love a child's theme park that much?" :rotfl: Fast forward a few years and here I am after only one visit giving serious thought to moving back to a city I came to really dislike just because it is only 6 hours away from DL versus the 15 I now live. :lmao: In our crazy world full of crazy people DL is a joy to plan for, think about and talk about. Walt Disney certainly blessed the world more than he probably even thought possible. Thanks Mr. Disney!

Now I am sitting here wondering what your last name is :) Are the words in capital letters a clue? Is it 'mick' or 'mickey'? I have never heard of the last name of mouse, but may be possible:) hmmm, very curious :rotfl:

Wow!!! I LOVE your bathroom!!!! I just had a poster collage made through the Wal-Mart website of all my favorite pictures from our last trip. I'm just waiting to get it framed then I'll be hanging it in our living room. I can't wait for more trips so I can make more collages to cover the walls! :)

Is there a Disney-holics anonymous? Or should I say anonymouse? ;)
Oh, I hope not, I don't want to be cured!!! :lmao:

I have to echo what so many previous posters have said...If I am not there, I am planning when I will be there next. It is an eighteen hour drive or a 2 1/2 hour flight...not close enough!!! My DS's are a blast to take, although I think my DS 13 is definately the other fanatic in my house. DH had never been before we were married (his parents say they "Are not those kind of people" whatever that means.) so I took him when our boys were 2 and 4. It was love at first sight! Now, our family and friends wonder how we contracted this disease and if they should try to fix us. :rotfl2:

In 2006, we went to DLR in April and in December. 2007 was a 16 day trip to WDW and DCL. This year, we have a family trip in May, I have a sister trip in September, our annual holiday trip in November, and we are already planning our 15th anniversary in January 2009 and DS 12th Bday in April 2009. :cloud9:

People around us may not understand, but it is what we do, and it is what we love. We love to collect the art, and we love to collect the memories.:grouphug:

Oh yes, I am guilty of the addiction.....and proud of it!! Don't anyone dare try and cure me or I'll hit you with my mouse ears!
I have been a Disney nut since I was a kid, but never knew true mouse mania until my first DL visit at the age of 17. I also visited WDW at the age of 18, but my heart remained in Anaheim.
My love and adoration stretches across all things Disney - the park (natch,) the movies, and the man himself - every research paper I wrote in college somehow tied into Walt Disney. I also have amassed a collection of things that help me feel that "Disney feeling" when I am not at my "home away from home" - I have a Disneyland keychain so the magic is always at my fingertips, as well as my Mickey watch which is worn wherever I go, no matter if I am in sweats or an evening gown. Mickey goes with everything!
Luckily, while my DH does not share my rabid mania, he is a fan and is happy to enable my addiction. My children have been smart enough to follow in my Disney-loving footsteps (or are clever enough to humor me so they don't get hurt) If money were no object we would probably live in the park, sleeping with the feral cats in the fake rocks outside Tomorrowland, but alas we have been hindered with real lives and a mortgage and stuff (stupid reality!) so we are managing to average a trip about every three years. Is it bad that I count the intervening years as "marking time"? I mean, life away from Disneyland is overrated anyway, right?? :rotfl:

Oh and yes, we have several friends who have taken their kids out of a sense of "duty" - like you HAVE to take your kids just once to say you did it - and they have no desire to go again. All they could talk about was the crowds, the cost, blah blah blah. I feel so bad for them, how could they have missed the magic? :wizard:

Does it count when a 31-32 yr old woman who is happily married and mother to a wonderful 2.5 yr old wants a princess themed bedroom? (and husband humored me and said okay!) All I can think about is Disney. I too loved Sunday nights and remember watching Disney ( I loved Chip and Dale!).
At 15 I watched Beauty and the Beast every day when I came home from school. (Belle is still my favorite!) My parents took me to WDW at 16 and for years after I dreamed about WDW and always in my dreams I was leaving and crying. And finally, my WHOLE family is planning on going to Hawaii in November, and where are DH and I planing on going? You got it, DL! We chose to go to DL instead of Hawii. We have never been to Hawaii and still DL wins hands down. Nobody in my family gets it. In my husbands family, most do. So in a long winded answer, I am a Disney Fanatic and I love it!

YES! YES! YES!

My DH and I are such huge fans that we moved to the Anaheim area right after we got married. Now, we live just a block away from the Disneyland Resort and love to walk to the parks any day of the week. Its like a perpetual vacation for us. Before we got married, my DH gave me an custom-made engagement ring with Mickey Mouse facets on the side. We've been to most of the Disney parks around the world (Paris, Tokyo, Orlando, Anaheim) and hope to do Hong Kong and Tokyo again next year. We love it!!

I absolutely am a Disneyland Fanatic!! I'd be there every week too if I lived closer! Everyone has something that they like in life, for us it's Disneyland. I don't see how that's bad at all.

My house is full of Disney stuff. From the big curio of my snow globe collection in the living room. To statues and pictures all over the place. To the license plate on my car, and even my mouse pad! :)

I'm totally going to do one of our bathrooms in Disney after seeing those pictures. Maybe that's something I'll be on the look out for while we're at DL in June! Stuff to redo it in! That one is mainly my son's bathroom, I think he'd love that!! :)

Here's a few pics of my Disneyland Toontown Christmas village! I absolutely adore it. I still need the Fire Station and the Toontown pond. Not easy items to get!

I've been a huge DL (Mickey Mouse) fan since the first time I went in 1989. I have so many set's of "ears" as it's a must purchase everytime I go to the park. I've hooked a friend to go with me each year as a girls weekend, this year we've chosen to go during Halloween as we've never been during that time of year. We stay at the GCH (tried the others, but nothing beats being so close to the parks). I work in Camarillo, CA but live in Portland, OR so every chance I get I'm always making side trips to DLR, the park is so beautiful, it never gets old and I swear everytime there is something new to see!!

We've got 5 cats - three are named after Disney Characters - Mickey, Donald, and Daisy. There's something Disney in each room (DH makes me limit the real common areas) and then our spare bedroom is just covered with stuffed animals, the ears, antenna balls, framed Disney pictures (including my first share of stock - which has the phrase "Now we can call our family vacations business trips!") plus much much more!

Every other year is my year to pick our family vacations. 2005 - DisneyCruise (WOW - most amazing experience and was off the WestCoast for the 50th Anniversary); 2007 WDW, 2009 - DisneyCruise again - this time Eastern Carib and 2011 -DisneyCruise on one of the new ships, with of course many long weekend trips down to DLR!!

I also love flying on Disney's planes through Alaska Airlines, there are three of them and each time, I take pictures of the plaque inside the door, and pictures of the outside of the plane (for those that haven't seen them, there is one commemerating Disneylands 50th Anniversary called "The Magic of Disneyland", one with the Characters - Mickey, Donald, Minnie, and Goofy called "The spirit of Disneyland" and finally the Spirit of Make a Wish.

My kids, even as teenagers, still love going and I'm very greatful. We know their kids will be Fanatics too :-)

We're getting married this June (yep, already call him my DH we've been together 12 years and finally tying the knot), while he wouldn't let me have a Disney wedding, which is ok because I guess it's sort of his day too :-) He did let me have a few things including:
Music - since we aren't really doing a traditional wedding, I had someone introduce me to Jim Brickman and he's got an almost all insturmental Disney CD. We'll start out the wedding to "Beauty and the Beast", then my bridal party will walk down the isle to "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" (it is slowed considerably!), I will walk down the isle to "Someday My Prince Will Come", once we are married we'll walk together to "A Whole New World" and finally our first dance will be "Can You Feel The Love Tonight", plus a wedding cake topper, cake cutting set, and place cards! I can't wait!!

Can't beat DL and Disney in general!
