We are flying for the first time in May and know nothing about the Orlando airport and would like to get suggestions on what transporation would be best for us to get to our hotel.

We are not renting a car.

There are six of us. Limo/Taxi/Bus/Van/ Which would be most cost effective for us.

thanks to all.

Mears is the easiest to find and probably the easiest to buy tickets for, but they make numerous stops at other hotels (and the additional traffic lights). They may also sit at the airport for awhile for more passengers to board.

Particularly if your party is four or more (Mears charges for each passenger), you will find other services to be a much more satisfying experience. For thsoe going to Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian, Contemporary, Grand Floridian, and others in that area, ask whether the sevice charges you an extra "Disney Parking Fee" and book accordingly.

We used to do Mears before we knew any better, but now we always use a towncar from Happy Limo. We didn't like being packed in like cattle on Mears and then making so many stops before our hotel. There are only two of us, but for larger groups towncars or limos are often cheaper anyway. In my opinion, that's the best way to do it!
