I don't know if this is old info.I called today to see if any discounts attached to my name so I could book a trip in Dec.No such luck. Anyway, I mentioned perhaps holding out for AP rates and we were discussing a bounceback I booked last Sept with dining. The CM I had on the phone told me that effective last Wed you are now able to add a dining package to your AP discount.

It is true. On the discounts page, there is a special code for the AP discount with the dining. Have a great time!!!

I think this is a great addition. It always pained people with AP's to NOT be able to get the dining plan unless they booked a package, which of course had to include tickets. While a ticket purchased with a package could be upgraded to an AP, I know in my family we have a stack of one day tickets from several different trips booked with the "Free dining "packages that we haven't yet needed to use. I worry about losing them! It stood to reason that since DVC members ( who also don't need to book a package) could have the dining plan added to their ressies, it makes such good business sense to offer the same to AP holders.---Kathy
