Just to clarify a few points about what to wear to pin events:

Dahlings....As all the fashion conscious know, boas are the in thing to wear to all pin events for 2002! They make a statement of the carefree happiness and joy that all participants experience at pin events! Take the Princess Ball for example....pouring rain, high winds and cool temperatures couldn't dampen our spirits because we were THE BOA BRIGADE ...ready to take on whatever Mother Nature threw at us in our pursuit of of pins and good times! The Boa Brigade will make a big splash on the cruise and at the big event in Spetember!!!

So, get in your cars, on your bicycles, your horses, your camels, go to the store and say "I am excited to be going to the pin event and I need a boa!!!!"

And to you nay sayers, I say "bah!!!...There's strength in numbers!" The movement has begun, we are strong! There's no stopping us now!!! :D :bounce: :D :bounce: :D

and our outfits are ready!!! You all ordered really nice

I'm so jealous -- I want to come to an event and wear a boa and join the brigade!!!
I did have a proxy at the MGM event (thanks to ismetoo and her wonderful family), maybe I should have gotten a boa to wear here at home that day (wonder what the family would have thought -- I'm not exactly the flashy type, they would have thought I had gone off the deep end) or should I have sent a boa to my proxy (Lauree's husband) to wear for me!

It was neat that so many people knew about us.. I wish I'd thought about putting a boa on Malcolm
that would have been a sight...I mean if his Father-in-law can wear a red wig, and boa..wouldn't you think???

Well for the next event we are working on getting him into a loin cloth (LOL) (sorry)..and a boa...these pictures would
be priceless...

Kathryn, I think you're right -- it's time to bring back the cheerleaders and the La-Z-Boy recliners. I'll be right there with you, sitting back in the La-Z-Boys with our boas, cheering on the AK participants. I love it. Arizona Jeff certainly could make a great story out of it! Come to think of it, with Raul and family involved and Mean Laureen there, too, it will certainly be a great story no matter who tells it. Pictures -- we'll need lot of pictures, you guys!

It was so much fun seeing so many in their boa's at the MGM event!:D
Some were "molting" . June, Bob, Janice, Michele, Fred and I had our picture made by Disney with h"hat" in background. Bob is making copies from our original. Will try to post it when I get it back. It turned out so good. The "banned" looked great in their shirts too! It was an overall fun day! Each event just keeps getting better. Makes me really look forward to AK event. I'm now wondering if I should try to add to my order since the MGM pins looked better in person than the drawings?? Not sure since they're all dino's and such. Not much in the way of characters.

But as stated, "Long Live the Boa Brigade!!":smooth:
