I've spent the last hour or so organized, copying, etc. pics from our FD training last Thursday. I took 172 pics, some of them turned out pretty good!

I also got a nice pic of DH next to his car.

We picked my FIL up for church this morning and they read my MIL name at mass and than they played Amazing Grace which just happened to be her Favorite song and my FIL started crying. It was very sad. We showed him a Mass Card that my Neighbor did for my MIL and he started crying and saying that my MIL truly was a Saint and he never deserved her for as long as her had her but was blessed that she was part of his life.

He is going to have some really rough times ahead. Last night was the first night that we have left him alone.

I like trucks too-although now that I have my Grand Prix-I love the power and speed it has around the corners and how it grips the road-trucks are a little more bouncy!!

I have collected so far:

"It is a virtual project with real life payoffs" for those who can "make it work"

Matthew and A.J. had a lot of fun trick-or-treating tonight.

Matthew was so great and so patient. A.J. has always been afraid to wear a mask but this year he wanted to wear a Frankenstien mask. Well, that hampers the eyesight - and he already has some problems with steps/stairs - and just about every house has steps up to the porch. So he was so slow going. But Matthew didn't complain and he made sure that A.J. got up and down all the stairs safely! I was really proud of the way he looked out for him tonight!

I am exhausted so I am off to bed. Have a nice night everyone!

My Mom stayed at my house and gave out candy and I had a huge bowl full that was almost empty when we got back.

Than about 9:45 after all our lights were out we had a big group of older kids knocking and yelling Trick or Treat. I couldn't believe it. The house was dark, but DH got up and gave them candy. :confused3

I read in the paper on monday that there is a station in GA that has already switched to holiday music all day. Then the station that I listen to on the way home from work mentioned it--- Now if I lived somewhere cold all year, maybe, probably not, but maybe.... but Georgia???? :confused3

:thumbsup2 my village had the "trick or treat" day on Sunday (so kids could go out during the day) we had a TON of kids (went through 6 bags of candy and about 40 pencils (yes the teacher in me). Last night we saw a lot of the teenagers running around, but not too many little ones.

We had nice weather too on sunday (in the 40's and no rain)

On a positive note....I got home from work yesterday and my vacation documents for WDW Travel were in the mail :cheer2:

OK-I have to get a move on-I have just been trying to collect a bunch of clues for this New Secret Event Coming Soon to the DIS

I have collected so far:

3 is a clue

and this was given as a clue today:
"The Harder you Work the More you'll get out of it"

will will have a week to decide if we want to "tackle it"

It will be announced from the "rooftops of the DIS"

"It is a virtual project with real life payoffs" for those who can "make it work"

and the Tag Fairy has said the "secret is challenging"

this whole thing is driving me crazy-I hope we find out soon!!!!

But I am looking for a change. I think I am also going to darken the blond in it.


And it is only hair and it will grow back if I don't like it.


I understand. I go through this every year and a half or so. I grow my hair out to donate to locks of love. I always end up with a "bob" type of cut above my shoulders. but the solons have great style books)

I got home yesterday and DD had a huge bag of candy from trick or treating by her book bag. I guess the PE teacher (who is very big into fitness for the children) told them to bring in all their candy and a Dentist will weight it and pay her $1.00 lb so she can buy PE equipment.
