The DISboards will be down this weekend.

Over the holiday weekend we will be upgrading the boards to the latest version of the VBulletin software. This upgrade will involve major downtime for the boards. Alex will be bringing them down around 5pm on Friday and it will take 24 to 48 hours to upgrade them.

The new VBulletin has a host of exciting new features and this should really make the boards a better place for all of us.

Please be patient during this upgrade - we'll all likely suffer withdrawal symptoms and will need to find something else to do - like go shopping!

There you are!!! Yep-DS almost joined about 2 yrs ago and then didn't graduate on time-so his contract was voided-but he's eligible again since he did graduate now and he's just discovering that life isn't as easy as he thought

My Mom was really mad at us-since he's been doing so bad lately-But I had to remind her that this was his choice and we had to let him try to do this on his own

He's heading back tonight-I sent him a CC so he can drive his car down here-He's lucky we love him and care about him!!!

That was really nice of Him!!!

I worked the 23,24 and 25th and made dinner each night and walked out the door without eating it- that was such a Bummer-I made a Great Roast for Dinner on Christmas-finished the gravy and put it back in the slow cooker for everyone else to eat-DH had to work the 24 and 25th too-so it was all ready for him when he came home

At least he washed the slower cooker for me!!!

They did!!! They got that game Guitar Hero and have been playing it non-stop!!!!Plus they got iPods and are having fun loading them up!!!

it was a strange Christmas

the kids wanted to get up at 4 i said no way

made it to 530

they got there personal DVD players and a bunch of the DVD's they wanted so we didn't see much of them until my parents showed up


Jess got my parents the poem first Christmas in Heaven so we started off with tears

Our ER was so busy this past Christmas eve it was just crazy-I was like-Go Home already!!! It was Wild-poor kids getting dragged out of bed into the cold for just a fever!!!!!or cough-Ughhh But Christmas night was much better!!!

Too bad you had to work on Christmas too-It just seems wrong to have office workers working on a holiday like that one-I can see Memorial Day or Labor Day-But Christmas-where's their Hearts!!!!

Well-we got some good news-It looks like DH will most likely be starting a new job-he's going to be a Sheriff here in Cherokee County-he just received a job offer as long as he passes the psych eval and a polygraph test-then he's in:thumbsup2

It's a FT job,and he has to start off at the local jail before they will let him work the road-I'm OK with that-a bit less dangerous in the jail than on the streets

He is just waiting to see if the Airport is going to offer him FT and then make a decision-we should know by Feb-I hope it doesn't effect our vacation plans in Feb!!!!!

He drove himself to Colorado this past summer and did that OK-so I have to trust this will go OK too!! I want him to wait til morning,but the traffic in Chicago and Indianapolis is going to be big issues by then-so we'll see
