Hi Everyone! I've had a busy day today; sorry I haven't been on.

DH and I had A.J.'s annual IEP meeting at the school. Fun, fun, fun!

After the meeting I met up with a friend and we went over to TN to go shopping and go to lunch. Actually got lost at one point and ended up in VA! :rotfl: We had a really great day.

I called DH and told him I was gonna be a little later than I had expected and he already had dinner started. He took care of the boys and I just got home. I know a lot of DHs would have been mad but he wasn't! :love:

We've done pretty well with six of us, now five of us, with only the one bathroom. Andrew and Matthew are just getting to the age of long showers and wanted "their" space!

We do have a room upstairs that will be a bathroom someday! Who knows when, though!

She ended up allergic to the antibiotic the put her on
so we had to start over on Monday
she says her one ear still hurts but not complaing half as much as before

so I guess they are doing ok

well he had a heart catherazation (sp???)
and they found nothing to cause the pain at first

than they said that the artey leaving his heart goes into spasm
they described it kinda like an eye twitch only in the artey

Weird :confused3 I wonder if that is treatable or if he just has to learn to live with it

I am glad your DD is feeling better...hopefully this medicine knocks out the bad stuff.

It sounds like that may be good news about your Uncle :confused3 I hope he is feeling better. Both my sisters have heart murmers (I think that is what it is) where the heart valve goes flippity-flap sometimes....so far they have been o.k. One of my sisters fainted twice from it, once it was in front of me, and they both need to take medicine before going to the dentist...other than that they been alright....hopefully it is something your Uncle can live with too. :wizard:

Pantry is coming along...I hit the shelves with the snacks and breakfast food :crazy: If a hurricane hits, I think we could survive on breakfast for two months :rotfl: I have been picking up the cereal and oatmeal on sale w/ coupons and now I have so much :confused3 I didn't realize it until I looked at the back of the shelf...somehow I only notice what is right in front and didn't realize how my stockpile was.

I am cleaning up the snacks too...I brought home a bunch of chocolate boxes from work during the holidays...which we haven't been eating. DH can take it to the archery thing on Saturday and share with the boys...

DH just got home...my Mom had called earlier and said that a small plane crashed in town. DH said one of his friends saw it happen. He saw the plane really low and circling and then it hit the BMW dealership. He said all the BMW were burned with the fuel...the entire dealership was engulfed in flames and it didn't look too good for whomever was in the plane :guilty:

I really hate those small planes...my boss has refused to travel at work if they were putting him on a small plane to fly to another island, I don't blame him one bit!

Just have to keep things organized :p

Morning :wave2: My kids are on a 2hr delay-we actually got rain and thunderstorms last night and when that happens with 8 inches of snow on the ground we get a bunch of fog

and the other day there was a bad fatality because of all the fog,so I'm sure the schools are being extra careful because of that :guilty:

well he had a heart catherazation (sp???)
and they found nothing to cause the pain at first

than they said that the artey leaving his heart goes into spasm
they described it kinda like an eye twitch only in the artey

:rotfl: I wasn't always like this...well, before my kids were in diapers and w/ baby food and so I stocked up on sales...but then, in the last two years I watched what happened elsewhere with hurricanes and realized that could easily be us..or worse if our harbor was damaged and the barges couldn't get in....so I have been doing the stockpile method and it seems to work ::yes:: I shop less, have more real food on hand and spend much less than before :thumbsup2

Just have to keep things organized :p

I've stockpiled for about 5 years or so. I had been sick and out of work and there wasn't much $$ for groceries and the pantry was looking very empty! But at least we had the deep freeze. Then we had a snowstorm and power was out for over 72 hours and we lost almost everything in the deep freeze! It wasn't fun. Ever since then I have stockpiled...just in case! that didn't sound fun! Last hurricane season we bought a small generator...enough to keep a fridge and our freezer cold. This year I am feeling somewhat more prepared...but, I need to go through our kits and check batteries...just to make sure noone borrowed stuff :rolleyes: I think I will do it at the end of May.

Do you keep your freezer full? I learned the hard way that if your freezer is completely full the food will stay frozen longer. So now I keep milk jugs full of water in the bottom of the freezer if the freezer isn't actually full of food. (You probably don't need this hint now that you have a generator, though! :teeth: )

We used to do the milk jugs when DH went fishing more with his family (they use the ice to keep the fish cool while they are out in deep sea)...but right now between my stockpiling, hunting, freezer cooking and the fish we got last night it is full :rotfl: heaven help me if I need something from the bottom :worried:
