Kayla no need to feel embrassed that your DH thinks you are "HOT".

When you have been married as long as we have it is a blessing to still have their attention.

Man it was so hot this weekend during the day. Than it got really cool in the evenings.

I saw so many RED people I felt sorry for them. Yikes! we usually put on sunscreen and DH wears long sleeve, white shirts. What is the temperature like in early May? Is a light jacket enough for at night? When we went last year, I brought our winter coats....some nights it was in the 40s and 50s...for us that was a welcomed change but we were cold. One day, it was supposed to stay in the 70s and we brought our winter coats into the park...the security guard thought we checked out of our hotel....when I told him we didn't, that was for later that night and he laughed at us :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :teeth:

A lite jacket should be fine if you need anything.

Some of those people looked like their skin had never seen the light of day and when it did it was FIRE Red.

Now get this. IT WAS BURNING hot yesterday. I am in shorts and a t-shirts and it was hot. There was a lady standing in line in front of me with a coat with a furry collar. I thought why is HECK is she wearing that and not passing out from the heat. :confused3

WDW made a ton of money this weekend. It was so hot during the day that nobody needed anything but shorts and T-shirts. Than at night the temps really dropped so here are all these people at the parks freezing this behinds off. Hoodies were selling like hot-cakes at $50.00 a pop. People were buying blankets and towels. Anything they could get thier hands on.

We were on the boat dock Sat. night waiting for the boat and it was pretty darn cold and yes people were looking me like I was crazy because I only had shorts and a t-shirt on.

I would be melting if I wore a fur collar  I went through DD's hand-me-downs last night and so I put a couple of nice shirts on the side for our trip...I think I will start packing next month :goodvibes but...for once...I am going to.....*GASP*...try to pack light  :scared: :faint:

By light, I mean just one suitcase for each person (not overstuffed) and one extra bag...so we would have only 5 checked in bags instead of 8

I was talking to DH...and not only have I converted him to the dark side, he is worse than me :p I told him I wasn't going to pack as much stuff since it should be warm and I plan on washing clothes a couple times...he is sad we are going for 7 nights and not longer :rotfl: He has got the bug just like me...but he did say that after our passes expire, we most likely won't go back until the kids are much older and we can do the Space Center and other non-Disney type theme parks....

So I said you don't need to buy one I have one here for you. The get out my little case full of bandaids, cream, wipes and tape. And give the kid a bandaid. I think he doesn't want to because of the mess he's in with the IRS-he had a small business and didn't pay enough taxes and has been in negotations with them for some time-1st they say yes he payed enough then it not enough and they take all they're money from they're accounts-it a royal mess and I think he's depressed about it and feels that this is what he has so be it-sad really :guilty:

Me and my Dad were never really close-he was really really mean to us growing up-very dysfunctional-but we are able to talk now-just never have been too close

Exactly-it hard to know how to feel-he was so mean to us-beat the Heck out out us-and now it's just hard,But I know I want him to get treatment for it-no sense on suffering if it can be cured(surgically removed) so I thought I'd just drop by and see if he went to the doctor today or not :confused3

03-06-2006, 05:22 PM
plus they helped us out on a few occasions with extra cash-so I'm going to repay them with a little-til they get this IRS thing settled-and my Mom gets payed on Friday-the IRS only left then with 20.00 in they're account-when they talked to them I guess the IRS in Kansas City didn't know they were in negotations with the Milw IRS-so they just took all they're money-just a royal mess

I think it will be ok. I called her coach and you wouldn't believe what she told me to do. I had to get her some Preparation H and put on it...heals up rips on hands all the time in a matter of a few days. She said she hadn't tried it on the foot but should work. :sad2:

It's a topical anti-inflammatory-helps to bring the swelling down, but it really wont do much fro the healing-I'd keep it clean and put neosporin in it and give her some childrens motrin-glad it's not looking broken :wizard:

Yes...It was nice/productive, but I am still tired. Not as tired as you must be ;) but tired for me :rotfl:

I woke up super early, got to work early, left early, picked up DD and took her to tap class for the first time. We watched the early class for about 15 minutes, then she borrowed a pair of shoes and played with the other girls. After about 5 minutes into class......she was DONE and ready to leave and take of the shoes...she wanted none of it :confused3 :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

So, I really feel I tried to find something for her, but she is not ready yet...we will go back to baking at home as our activity

In a way, I was glad...the woman was super nice, but I thought her moves were somewhat advanced for the young age of the girls...most of them couldn't follow along and some weren't participating at all...

My DS started TaeKwonDo about 1 1/2 months ago and that has been very positive :thumbsup2

We were standing in line for something and there was a little boy waiting to purchase something. I didn't realize he needed a bandaid until I heard him. So I said you don't need to buy one I have one here for you. The get out my little case full of bandaids, cream, wipes and tape. And give the kid a bandaid. The guy in front of me was like you are a "MOM" right. :thumbsup2

My friend said "you should have seen her when we did the 3-day, if you needed it SHE HAD IT". :lmao:
when we were in Animal Kingdom in 2002 a little girl fell and scraped her knee pretty badly
the parents were young and really freaking looking for a cast memeber to help find first aid
I opened my pack and handed them a cleaning cloth ointment and gauze and tape
they were like WOW why do you carry all that??
i said cause you never know someone may need it

they were so thankful

I always over pack BUT.... I am prepared for most anything

it was finally nice to celebrate the actual event-the school doesn't have a ceremony for the Jan graduates-and he doesn't want to walk the stage in June so this was a nice way to help acknowledge his accomplishment :thumbsup2

I bet he'll change his mind! Ok I tell ya something I don't tell everyone, but i was 20 when I graduated. I had quit school when I was younger b/c my mom was preggers and she had to be on bed rest, so I was the only one really working at the time. My brother was never around much (yeah and he's her baby!) and my grandmother has never worked a day in her life (she was living with us at the time) so I didn't go back to school till I was 19 and I turned 20 my senior year, I didn't want to walk either, but I changed my mind at the last minute and they let me do it! I was SOOOOO proud of myself and I was sooo happy that my family was there for me.

Lyn - Sorry your DD didn't like tap! After all you went through finding just the right class for her! Always the way, though, when they're that age! ;)

That's the sad thing, though. We're in the middle of spring, too. We've had enough nice spring days that everything is starting to bloom or bud. Our daffodils are up about 4". If we get a lot of snow or ice it will kill off all the spring flowers! :sad2:
