Who know Kim
I can't tell if it is just a virus again or if they are in need of antibiotics this time
it is the cold that never ends
they have one or two good days and than WHAM it hits them again
Very frustrating :headache:
A.J. had been fighting a cold for about a week before we went to PA last week. Wouldn't you know it the morning that we were to leave for PA he woke up with a real full-blown cold and pink-eye!!!!! I called the doctor's office and they almost never call in prescriptions. I told the nurse we were on our way to PA and why and that I really needed to get him on antibiotics quickly so that he'd be able to visit with Grandpa! The doctor called me back on my cell phone when we were halfway through VA! I told him what was going on and under the circumstances he called in two prescriptions for him! Luckily, I had gotten the info off the internet for the Walmart near Grandpa and the doctor's office just called them in to PA. A.J. always responds quickly to antibiotics and luckily this was the case this time too!

My Grandmother just called to tell us that my Aunt has Breast Cancer. :(
They think they have caught it early on so she is in a good position right now. I guess they will know more later.
She will go in for Surgery on the 14th and than do 6 weeks of Chemo. Her DIL is a Nurse that works in a Chemo Treatment Place here in Florida. So I am sure they will keep her well informed of what is happening.
More of a reason for me to walk and raise money and AWARENESS.
Ladies people make sure you have a Mamogram. Early dectection is the key.
Please say a prayer for her. Her name is Arlene.

Last year when I walked it seemed like everyone I talked to was under the age of 40 that had Breast Cancer. I couldn't believe it, I couldn't believe that people our age we getting Breast Cancer. As it is you normally don't even get a mamogram until the ag of 40.

Okay there is something wrong with this picture. More and more women are getting it at a younger age. I don't think they physically can mamogram you if you are too young....something about the tissue being too dense at a younger age. About 2 years ago I had some lumps checked out...and they said I was too young for a mamogram. Instead, they did an ultrasound of the girls ;) and then I had to see another specialist and he did a physical exam...so that with the ultrasound I was o.k. :goodvibes but, I know I should be better about doing my exams.
I think this is what I will do for lent. Each Friday make a conscious effort to check myself. We usually give up meat on Fridays and on Ash Wednesday, but DH and I decided that instead of giving something more up (than meat...we will still do that) we will add something to our lives (like Kim does).....so, we decided to try and attend mass again. We used to always go, until we had DD :scared: :hyper: ...we tried to go back again last year... :( ...but, now that she is in school and may have better manners, we are going to try this Saturday :teeth: :wizard:

Yes you are correct. I had to have a mamogram and they couldn't tell anything so than I had to have a Ultrasound.
But mainly I wrote that to make sure that everyone gets familiar with thier GIRLS. Know what they feel like and check them out.
And Kim and Kathy are of the age that they should be getting Mamograms.

Okay there is something wrong with this picture. More and more women are getting it at a younger age.
I heard something on a news program just last week about this. It's not that more and more women are "getting" it at a younger age but that they're finding out that they have it at a younger age. It used to be that they may have actually had it but not found out until they were a little older and, sadly, by then it was usually too late to do anything about it. Now there are so many more women finding out earlier because of early detection and, luckily, now there are more survivors!
One of my good friends is a survivor, 10 years now. I took her to her chemo and radiation because her husband is a trucker and always out-of-town. She never had a masectomy - her husband said no, can you believe that! Her kids were very young (9 and 10) and it was so hard on them. But now she can say she is a SURVIVOR!

There wasn't a doubt for me..and DH agreed completely (although it might not have mattered to me if he didn't agree, still would have done it)...with two toddlers at the time, it wasn't worth it, JMHO.

I can still remember all that she went through. She wanted to have a masectomy and he said absolutely not! The thing that I could never understand was that she went along with HIS decision! I can't picture my DH ever putting me in any risk!
I had a tumor and an ovary removed back in 1991. At the time the doctor wasn't sure what kind or tumor it was and I went into surgery not knowing if I would have to have a complete hystorectomy or not. DH told the doctor to do whatever he needed to do, just to make me okay! I can still hear him telling the doctor he didn't care what had to removed or if we could have any more kids or not, just take care of me!

I'm making lasagna again! :thumbsup2 It should come out much better this time!! I wasn't happy with it last time b/c the pan I used was too big, plus I added a TON of extra cheese :teeth: I had to make it early though b/c my mom is gonna take one for a party they are having at work.
of course I can't eat any of it b/c I started my diet yesterday

HELLO!!!! Have I told you about my brother?!?! I love him like crazy, but I can't stand to be in the same room as him for more than 10 min OMG!!! sometimes that is how I feel....and it wasn't always like this. After I think you and Kathy were talking about 28 Days, I watched it the other weekend. Do you remember the part where the sister says something like, you make it so hard for me to love you! that is how I sometimes feel....each weekend I try to help my sis, at least one day each weekend, and about two weeks ago :( .....hmmmm, things can be so difficult sometimes....last weekend we didn't help, DH and I were still upset/tired of it. Hey did you guys see this......
"Family Suites at the All-Star Music Resort are a go! In December 2005, we featured photos of models that were under consideration at the time. These suites have been approved and will be available for booking on or around March 6. When construction on all the suites is completed, they will be located in the Jazz Inn buildings 2 and 9, and Calypso buildings 1 and 10 at All-Star Music. Suites will be in both standard and preferred locations, and will sleep six, plus a crib. (The chairs and ottomans in the room convert to twin beds.) The 2006 pricing for the suites will be as follows: Value Season, $169/night; Regular Season, $209/night; Peak Season, $239/night; and Holiday Season, $259/night. Be sure to check AllEarsNet.com daily for more details on the availability of these suites."
For those of us with larger families this is nice.

but I really love him  and real love too. There were many times I was "in love" are "in like" with someone....but to me, real love is the person who loves you at the worst times...not during the best times. Same goes for friends....you can have lots of "good time" friends, but real friends are there for you when you think noone would want to be your friend....same with family...like how my sister drives me to insanity and yet I still love her and want to help... end of tired rant....I need more sleep

"I've been thinking, and that's never good. I've figured out the reason why I won't talk to Adam. It's because I just "like" him, not "I wanna go out with him" Like him. Just yeah, it would be nice but I just "like" you, kinda feeling.
Don't get me wrong I still LOVE him but if I did go out with him how long would it REALLY last for?"

Have you ever gotten carried away with something and enjoyd the feeling so much that you kept forcing it to happen when you really didn't know it?
Almost, like liking someone because you think that it feels good to like someone but only thinking that you actually do like them when it's really not the truth?

I am freaking out about leaving DD. This will be the first time. And DH is working WAY out of town. She is going to have to go home with a friend from school and DH is going to have to pick her up and now he thinks he is going to be late. :scared:
I am trying him to get leave early seeing how he has a long drive.
My Mom is out of town so basically nobody will be here if she needs them. I don't like that.
Than he has to take her to do cookie booths on Saturday. She had two of them but I am going to cancel one of them.
