I didn't use it...after our supppppeeeerrrrrr looooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnngggggggg flight, we had a car pick us up and take us straight to the hotel....plus, I pack so much stuff it is hard to get around...just my kitchen sink takes up so much space. :lmao: :lmao:

I'm back. I was on the phone with Nana. She called to tell us that Grandpa is not doing very well. :sad2: He's gone down drastically in the past two weeks. He has almost no feeling in his face, needs help going to the bathroom, drags his right leg, slurs his speech. But she said he knows what is going on and his mind seems to be working fine.

No, actually I think I was more talking to myself! :rotfl:

I did post about our "nana" and "grandpa." They're not my kids real grandparents but they are the closest to grandparents that my kids have ever had. (My parents and my husbands parents are gone so my kids don't have "real" grandparents.) Anyway, "Grandpa" has brain cancer and he is not doing well right now. It's very hard on us.

Unfortunately right now we have three people close to our family that have cancer. Grandpa is one, a friend of my son's is another (he's only 12) and the daughter of a friend of mine (she's 16) is another. She has lukemia.

I work on the computer doing ebay, too, so my kids used to have to battle me for their time on the computer. But DH bought me a laptop for Christmas so that there is more peace around here! :rotfl:

I'm getting tired now-glad I only had to work 8hrs tonight!!! Which was great since DD had her Championship game-and guess what....Yep ,they WON!!!!

And best part was that all the kids got to play in each game



well...... in the 2nd game they only got to play-can you believe this,Up by 12 pts and 1min30sec left and the coach didn't put the benchwarmers(aka 5th graders) in til there was only 4.9sec!!!!! GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!! Then she puts all 4 of them in together and they scramble around not knowing what to do-

on some days, I get to work early to get work done, cuz I don't get a lot of "work" done while at work.

well, i am also the case manager (counslor for Spec. Ed Students) so on many days, I am with kids and not doing the "work" or paper stuff I have to do..... and I get more done when no other adults are around too!!!
