ok.. I went and got my hair done last week...... it looked like pretty good match after it was all done and blowed dry, styled etc... now that I'm home and doing it myself I notice that the color doesn't really match.

So I asked a couple people at work.. what they thought/saw and one lady says it looks like you need to have your roots done... I told her I just got them done 3 days ago!! So... I called the salon and they finally called back last night and go "can you come in tomorrow at 1130?" well NO I do have kids here with me :rolleyes:

"well she needs to see your hair ASAP" so I agreeded to come in today around 1130 to show her my hair. the top doesn't look too bad, the highlights were matched pretty good, but when you hold a chunk of hair up, it looks like I have 3 different shades in...YUCK!

Update:
I went to the hair place and she acted like she couldn't see anything wrong with it. But she did say "I can see that you have faded some" Uh.... it's only been a WEEK.. there should be NO fading!! She kept saying "so you want it all blond?" No, my base color is a brassy/auburn color. "oh.. you want highlights all over then?" NO.. I want you to redo the roots where it looks BLACK still!

So, she reluctantly will redo it on the 16th.

Oh! I love those games. I actually got "suckered" into playing when my DD was in eighth grade 'cause I was on the PTSO and they were short teachers to play. 8th grade won. (I probably helped the 8th grade more than the teachers! :rotfl2: )

That is very pretty.

It's hard for me to comprehend all the highlights and coloring stuff though. I've got red hair and can't color mine. Even if I try to touch up gray it turns this awful orange shade!

The rain was so bad the roads were flooded. I took DD out of school 30 min. early to beat the rush and we where on our way to get gas and hit a small puddle on the end of the road and it blew water up and I lost the belt that controls the whole car. So Needless to say I had no power steering or anything. Pull into the nearest parking lot and call AAA. Which by the way is SUPER busy when you have to hold over 30 mins to get disconnected. Call back hold another 30 mins and than wait over an hour for the tow truck to tow us HOME!!!!!

So I am now home. :guilty:

Kelli - I just got an email from a friend of mine down there. She said that the roof of Bed, Bath & Beyond (in Tyrone Square) had collapsed and that they were sending dogs in to look for people. She said the storms are terrible today. :sad2: She lives right near Maderia Beach.

Right now it is. One belt run the whole entire system in the car. Power steering, temp. fan, and battery. So the belt is still there the water just pushed it off. But is has to go to be put back on. DH doesn't want to deal with it. so until Monday I will not have a car.

I have been thinking about trying to lighten my hair again or doing something different for the last three months and I think I am going to do it TODAY.....I didn't know that Kliz had darker hair than mine and hers looks great so I am inspired to try again. I made an appointment at a salon I have been to, but with a woman I don't know so hopefully it will be o.k. My coworkers think I am too gutsy...but my DSIL was just in and she told me to go for it and it if looks good she might try too :rotfl2: We'll see how it goes :rolleyes:

We're supposed to get 4-6" tomorrow evening into Sunday. If so, the kids will be out of school Monday 'cause the high Sunday is only going to be 25 so none of it will melt off!

The rain was so bad the roads were flooded. I took DD out of school 30 min. early to beat the rush and we where on our way to get gas and hit a small puddle on the end of the road and it blew water up and I lost the belt that controls the whole car. So Needless to say I had no power steering or anything. Pull into the nearest parking lot and call AAA. Which by the way is SUPER busy when you have to hold over 30 mins to get disconnected. Call back hold another 30 mins and than wait over an hour for the tow truck to tow us HOME!!!!!

So I am now home. :guilty:

I've got a ton of stuff to do today, too. DH is very bummed right now so he ought to be a joy to have around today. We were supposed to have some grading work done today to level out the place for the greenhouse and it is pouring! He has been waiting weeks for this guy to be able to get here to do it and they set the date about two weeks ago. So now it's going to be at least another two weeks probably.

And the rain is supposed to turn to snow this afternoon and it looks like it might be one of those weeks for school!
