Well I hope to get my packages in the mail today :thumbsup2 -it should of been on Monday-but I needed some tissues for them. :sad2: I think he might be allergic to the medicine he got :sad2: He is allergic to some stuff....so he woke me up about 40 minutes ago that his throat was sore and tight  so, I tell him does he want to go to the hospital....should I call the ambulance...and he tells me no, he wants to "see" how it goes for a little while :furious: So, I get out of bed....becuase of course now I can't sleep worring about him and I started to fold clothes and DIS...he was sitting with me earlier and now he said it isn't getting worse and went to bed. I swear, I don't know whether to be worried or upset...If he is really sick I don't want him to stop breathing and die but at the same time I am not sure if he is being a big baby or not....uuuuggggghhhhh....maybe he is trying to kill me :rolleyes1

Okay his throat getting tight would freak me out. But than again you never know if it is as bad as they say. DARN MEN!!!

I went to the doctor yesterday and was VERY pleased. My sugar is well within normal range, my bad cholestrol is good, and my triglycerides are good! I have fought with the cholestrol and triglycerides (sp) for two years now. I do need to lose some weight but at least now I only have to focus on that, not the cholestrol and trigycerides, too! My blood pressure was high but with what I had been through 24 hours prior to my appointment he kind of understood. I take medication for it and check it regularly and it has been good lately. So I was pretty happy!

Oh Kathy that is GREAT news. I am so happy to hear that you sugar is good.

He doing fine, thanks!

He is back at work today. He had originally scheduled today and tomorrow as vacation days. Today he switches to day shift, which he hates, so he often takes vacation days to do stuff around the house when he's on day shift. But he cancelled his vacation days so that the deputy that was shot could stay home without the shift being short. But he found out this morning that the one that was shot plans to come into work today! MEN! If my DH had been shot I'd make him stay home just so I could keep holding on to him. :rotfl: That's all I did with my DH for 24 hours anyway. I think I drove him nuts! :rotfl: He probably couldn't wait to get back to work!

Well if you would have changed that up just a bit he might have taken today also. :rotfl2:

This is too funny. :lmao: :lmao:

You may not know this but many non-living things have a gender.

1) Ziploc Bags are Male, because they hold everything in, but you can
see right through them.

2) Copiers are Female, because once turned off; it takes a while to warm

them up again. It's an effective reproductive device if the right
buttons
are pushed, but can wreak havoc if the wrong buttons are pushed.

3) A Tire is Male, because it goes bald and it's often over-inflated.

4) A Hot Air Balloon is Male, because, to get it to go anywhere, you
have to
light a fire under it, and of course, there's the hot air part.

5) Sponges are Female, because they're soft, squeezable and retain
water.

6) A Web Page is Female because it's always getting hit on.

7) A Subway is Male, because it uses the same old lines to pick people
up.

8) An Hour glass is Female, because over time, the weight shifts to
the bottom.

9) A Hammer is Male, because it hasn't changed much over the last 5,000
years, but it's handy to have around.

10) A Remote Control is Female. Ha! You thought it'd be male, didn't
you?
But consider this,-it gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and

while he doesn't always know the right buttons to push, he keeps trying!

Catie is finally having her B-Day celebration on Friday(I'm off this weekend) I told her she could have 2 friends sleep over and we're going to see Nanny McPhee-heard it was a good show.

We did take her out with our friends and their DD-the restaurant had a arcade on the 2nd level-and all the wait staff came out and sang her Happy Birthday -they even gave her a strawberry smoothie with whip cream and a candle in it!!! But her party had to wait til I had the weekend off-I feel kinda bad since her B-Day was on Jan 20th.

But her party had to wait til I had the weekend off-I feel kinda bad since her B-Day was on Jan 20th.

we are having a bowling party on the 11th for her little school friends. And than maybe in the afternoon a party for family.

Since we've all been talking about doing our taxes I thought you'd all enjoy seeing the email I just got....

Dear Internal Revenue Service:

Enclosed you will find my 2005 tax return showing that I owe $3,407.00 in taxes. Please note the attached article from the USA Today newspaper; dated 12 November, wherein you will see the Pentagon (Department of Defense) is paying $171.50 per hammer and NASA has paid $600.00 per toilet seat.

I am enclosing four (4) toilet seats (valued @ $2,400) and six (6) hammers valued @ $1,029), which I secured at Home Depot, bringing my total remittance to $3,429.00. Please apply the overpayment of $22.00 to the "Presidential Election Fund," as noted on my return. You can do this inexpensively by sending them one (1) 1.5" Phillips Head screw (see aforementioned article from USA Today newspaper detailing how H.U.D. pays $22.00 each for 1.5" Phillips Head Screws). One screw is enclosed for your convenience.

It has been a pleasure to pay my tax bill this year, and I look forward to paying it again next year.

Sincerely,

A Satisfied Taxpayer

I went to the doctor yesterday and was VERY pleased. My sugar is well within normal range, my bad cholestrol is good, and my triglycerides are good! I have fought with the cholestrol and triglycerides (sp) for two years now. I do need to lose some weight but at least now I only have to focus on that, not the cholestrol and trigycerides, too! My blood pressure was high but with what I had been through 24 hours prior to my appointment he kind of understood. I take medication for it and check it regularly and it has been good lately. So I was pretty happy! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

MID LIFE CRISIS:

Mid-life is when the growth of hair on our legs slows down.
This gives us plenty of time to care for our newly acquired
mustache.

In mid-life women no longer have upper arms, we have wing spans.
We are no longer women in sleeveless shirts; we are flying
squirrels in drag.

Mid-life is when you can stand naked in front of a mirror and
you can see your rear without turning around.

Mid-life is when you go for a mammogram and you realize that
this is the only time someone will ask you to appear topless.

Mid-life is when you want to grab every firm young lovely in a
tube top and scream, "Listen honey, even the Roman empire fell
and those will too."

Mid-life brings wisdom to know that life throws us curves and
we're sitting on our biggest ones.

Mid-life is when you look at your know-it-all, cell phone,
beeper-wearing teenager and think: "For this I have stretch
marks?"

In mid-life your memory starts to go. In fact the only thing we
can retain is water.

Mid-life means that your Body By Jake now includes Legs By Rand
McNally -- more red and blue lines than an accurately scaled map
of Wisconsin.

Mid-life means that you become more reflective. You start
pondering the "big" questions. What is life? Why am I here?
How much Healthy Choice ice cream can I eat before it's no
longer a healthy choice?

But mid-life also brings with it an appreciation for what is
important. We realize that breasts sag, hips expand and chins
double, but our loved ones make the journey worthwhile. Would
any of you trade the knowledge that you have now for the body
you had way back when? Maybe our bodies simply have to expand
to hold all the wisdom and love we've acquired.

And get TOTAL pleasure from doing it. :lmao: :lmao: ::yes:: and now the school called me...they think DD might have pink eye :faint: DH just dropped them off and so now he has them again..he was supposed to be off work resting but this morning he said he was feeling better. I have meetings this afternoon so it is hard to take off, but may need to tomorrow. At least I already have an appointment with the ped. to remove the stiches...he can check her eye too. I just feel like the last few months have been never ending illnesses....at what point am I allowed to have breakdown?

I went to the doctor yesterday and was VERY pleased. My sugar is well within normal range, my bad cholestrol is good, and my triglycerides are good! I have fought with the cholestrol and triglycerides (sp) for two years now. I do need to lose some weight but at least now I only have to focus on that, not the cholestrol and trigycerides, too! My blood pressure was high but with what I had been through 24 hours prior to my appointment he kind of understood. I take medication for it and check it regularly and it has been good lately. So I was pretty happy!

:lmao:

Just stopping by for some friendly faces and a few smiles before night school starts. THe kids in night school are sooooooo boring -- I mean that in a nice way, they are so tired from day school that they have no energy for night school and it takes sooo long to pass the time. :hourglass

so I'll read back a few pages and be right back.

I guess we will talk about it on the way to Brownies. I will get her ideas and than run them by DH. Because I am not sure all 3 of us have been in the same room long enough to have a discussion.

And as it is Ashli and I will be heading over to WDW on Friday after school and DH will meet us there. He is working in North Florida and it will be faster for him to go straight there from work than drive more than an hour home than and hour or so to WDW. Plus that puts us right in the middle of RUSH HOUR!!! :furious:

I think that is what we are going to try and do on this trip...other than DD's meal. Most of my travel to WDW is UNDER CONSTRUCTION which makes it worse.
For the most part we can get to WDW in about 1-1/2. One time it took us over 3 hours when we left around 3:30. Than I have to listen to DH say we will never go over on a Friday again. That we can just get up really early on Sat and go over and miss all the traffic. Which I agree makes perfect sense but I still want to go over on Friday afternoon.

Yes, Crystal Palace has the birthday parade! If you tell them in advance that you're celebrating a birthday they will put streamers and confetti on the table before they seat you. Then, about once an hour, they have all the characters parade around the restaurant to music and birthday kids can be in the parade. (I think non-birthday kids can do the parade too.) It's a big hit!
