I just made an appointment to remove DD stiches and for the kids annual exams....then I get a call from DH...He went to check on his nose (the inside was swollen...he thought maybe and infection or needed to be burned again or something) then the doc gave him some medicine and a solution to use for the next three weeks...but one area looked "swollen" and "probable benign (sp?)" :( can I just say I have scary thoughts going on in my head :( I told DH to just use whatever the doc said to do and we can go back in 3 weeks...I was supposed to eat with people at work ....but I am having lunch with him now....

I'm much better! Yesterday was a very emotional day. I did stay at work all day and I was quite a basket case! :teeth: I kept shaking and kind of had one "what if" meltdown. Everyone at work was great, though. It's probably the best thing for me to have gone to work 'cause DH slept ALL day!

Lyn - Have you had a chance to talk to DH and get more info??? We talked at lunch and it is somewhat ironic...The doctor's wife was one of the people who came to look at our puppies (she wanted a dog for her mom, but ended up not taking one...last night we had another person call for a pup, but we gave them all away already). From what DH said the doctor was very professional and non-emotional. He said it wasn't "urgent" that they do anything, so that seems good. But he did say it is something they will always need to watch and DH said he seemed concerned...which also doesn't seem that bad...better to know early right and I think it is good that they watch it...better than ignoring it? So, hopefully the meds will reduce the swelling (can't tell from looking at him, I guess it is all internal) and then hopefully in 3 weeks it will be o.k. I a way I don't want him to need the biopsy, but in a way it would be good if they took the sample just to check, for peace of mind. Last spring I had a "lump" and I did several tests...turned out to be o.k. but DH and I always thought it was good to just check and then at least the doctors have a baseline of what is there....

I looked at her and I know she has some things going on too and I told her, "but that is how it is for everyone, isn't it?" and she agreed. what did I miss today Well, on my end DH went to the doctor today to check his nose and they stuck a tube down to his throat to check things out and found a "swollen" area inside his nose. The doctor said it probable isn't cancer, but gave him some things to take and he goes back in 3 weeks. If it still looks bad, they need to do a biospy (sp?) and if it doesn't look too bad they will just continue to watch it.

Well a few things really

My DD's and I are part Native American
MY DH has always had a special Thing for bears
and when It is Complete they are doing another Tat over top of it in a few weeks of a cloud with our Daugters names in it

It is kinda a tribute to them and their Heritage
Plus he just REALLY liked it When Matt( the tattoo Guy) designed it

:sad2: I think he might be allergic to the medicine he got :sad2: He is allergic to some stuff....so he woke me up about 40 minutes ago that his throat was sore and tight :eek: so, I tell him does he want to go to the hospital....should I call the ambulance...and he tells me no, he wants to "see" how it goes for a little while :furious: So, I get out of bed....becuase of course now I can't sleep worring about him and I started to fold clothes and DIS...he was sitting with me earlier and now he said it isn't getting worse and went to bed. I swear, I don't know whether to be worried or upset...If he is really sick I don't want him to stop breathing and die but at the same time I am not sure if he is being a big baby or not....uuuuggggghhhhh....maybe he is trying to kill me :rolleyes1

I went to the doctor yesterday and was VERY pleased. My sugar is well within normal range, my bad cholestrol is good, and my triglycerides are good! I have fought with the cholestrol and triglycerides (sp) for two years now. I do need to lose some weight but at least now I only have to focus on that, not the cholestrol and trigycerides, too! My blood pressure was high but with what I had been through 24 hours prior to my appointment he kind of understood. I take medication for it and check it regularly and it has been good lately. So I was pretty happy!

He doing fine, thanks!

He is back at work today. He had originally scheduled today and tomorrow as vacation days. Today he switches to day shift, which he hates, so he often takes vacation days to do stuff around the house when he's on day shift. But he cancelled his vacation days so that the deputy that was shot could stay home without the shift being short. But he found out this morning that the one that was shot plans to come into work today! MEN! If my DH had been shot I'd make him stay home just so I could keep holding on to him. :rotfl: That's all I did with my DH for 24 hours anyway. I think I drove him nuts! :rotfl: He probably couldn't wait to get back to work!
