Wonder how Lyn's turkey turned out!
Yummy! It took me a little while to carve it (especially since I was rushing) but 19+ pounds made a lot of turkey ::yes:: I froze some for a slow cooker recipe I want to try later, I took a large pan to my sister and her work crew for lunch with stuffing and I left the drumsticks and some meat in my fridge. DH ate some for lunch on a salad and I have the rest for dinner tonight when the men get back...I also made sweet and sour meatballs in my slow cooker for them...so we may be eating turkey again tomorrow :rotfl2: :teeth:

Thanks-just glad the majority of it's past and onto better days I go!!! Can't wait to see the paychecks though-and now my work just called begging for someone to come in and I have only slept 2hrs today because of all the BB games-so that's not going to happen :rolleyes:

Our Children's Hospital agrees with you-it doesn't distract from our work at all-we are all professionals,we can drop whatever we're doing on-line and go do our work-and it does help keep you stimulated and awake-now if we could just get my other small local hospital to realize that, then all will be well :scratchin

Turkey leftovers today???
:rotfl: just a little for DH's salad. I froze some on Saturday for a one slow cooker recipe, then I froze the rest of the drumsticks and other boned meat for a slow cooker soup recipe I want to try later and then froze some meat for a night I can defrost that and serve with gravy, rice and stuffing...yummy for another night, but I don't want to eat turkey for at least a week :rotfl: The kids and I did Steph soup recipe this morning, without the chili..so it is more of a vegetable soup. I think we will have that for lunch with grilled cheese :teeth:


I shouldn't be on the DIS. DH took the kids outside to play with the pups and he is power washing the back of our house and the patio where the pups are (don't forget, outside our house it is really warm at night....no snow here so the pups are fine in the patio). I am supposed to be doing the dishes and laundary.

It sends itself automatically to all contacts on your list with
the title:"A Card for You".
As soon as the supposed virtual card is opened the comp uter
freezes so that the user has to reboot. When the ctrl+alt+del keys or
the reset button are pressed, the virus destroys Sector Zero, thus
permanently destroying the hard disk. Yesterday in just a few hours this
virus caused panic in New York, according to news broadcast by CNN.

This alert was received by an employee of Microsoft itself.
So don't open any mails with subject: "A Virtual Card for You."
As soon as you get the mail, delete it!! Even if you know the sender !!!
