"This is great shredded beef served on tortillas or over rice. Add sour cream, cheese, and fresh cilantro on the side."

1 small onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, seeded and sliced into strips

DS looks like he may be starting a cold...This morning I left my home early to stop at the store to pick up puppy food and in the meantime DS woke up a little slugish...so DH caled me and didn't want me to come home, so instead I told him to take DS to the babysitter. HE LOVES OUR SITTER and DH said he "looked" better as soon as DH told him where he was going :rolleyes: Then, DH left DD there too since he knew she would rather go there than school :eek:. Oh well, at least my DH helps out. So, now, after work I need to go to the ATM and get some $ for the sitter, pick up kids and then stop at the store for milk...at least I have turkey and gravy thawing in my fidge for dinner.... :teeth: add some stuffing and I am set. :cool1:

I forgot to add that our guinea pig, King Triton, also went to the sitter. Which is good, poor little guy doesn't get much attention from the kids with all the puppies (but I still love him :love: )...our sitter really likes the little piggie and so does her great-granddaughter...so Triton probable got more attention today than he knows what to do with :lmao: When DH dropped everyone off he said that my DD was already carring the poor little guy all around :rotfl2:

Nothing in particular. Just kinda everything in general! A lot of it has to do with feeling like I'm being taken advantage of. And they're cutting back on hours so a lot of people are upset so the mood just isn't very good. (The hours being cut back doesn't effect me, though.)

:guilty: one of my co-workers is having a hard time with her aging parents...poor thing :( I told her that I would go with her to look at a home for those that are still somewhat independent next week...I told her I can't really offer much advice, but that I could keep her company. :guilty:

and, my other friend that is having problems with her boyfriend I haven't even seen today :confused3 I should go look for her. I told her she could live with me for a couple weeks if she needed to :confused3

It rained pretty hard last night, the sound was so nice on the roof of the house. I couldn't sleep at all, but the sound was nice. Then my dog(Krammer the greyhound) woke me up like 2 minutes before my mom would wanting to go use the bathroom. I could here my mom in the bathroom so I just told him to tell her. Then my mom came in and told me about the 2hr delay. I went back to sleep and didn't wake up until my mom pulled me out of bed. I really needed that delay.

Supposidly the roads are bad yes. They said there was going to be flooding today, and there might have been, but I don't think it was necesary. We have had some flooding here, and where our house is, used to be a swamp. My 7th grade year, we had a rain day, not a snow day. They sent us home early and we didnt' come back the next day.

And we don't have to makeup delays. But we do have to make up snow/rain days unless we have more than five.

I need to start a new band. The last (and first) one I was in ended up crashing basicaly. Our gutarist was amazing, yet had ADD and was easily distracted. He was also always in a power struggle with our keyboardist/manager. We got gigs but cancelled them all because we couldn't play anything. Our drummer and I would just let them argue and say "Guys we need to be serious and learn some songs." So we just broke up.
