I did the figuring last night and DH and I decided we could afford either Niagra Falls or Disney for three nights. Now we just have to figure which one. Believe it or not DH voted for Disney but Andrew and Matthew voted for Niagra Falls! Andrew and Matthew are leaning that way 'cause Niagra Falls should be cooler weather. I'm starting to lean back towards the falls, too. Who knows! :confused3

I'm a Sp. Ed. Teacher !!! and I love it when my kids graduate!!! I tell them even if they stay till they are 21 its better to graduate than not!!!


we have a low graduation rate, we are an inner city school and usually gangs or baby's help to drag the kids out before they graduate. sometimes their parents pull them out because they didn't finish in 4 years. :guilty:

DH had to quit school when he was in 10th grade do to some many family issues i can't even begin to list them all

well My family and his boss kept supporting him and it took a few tries but he got his GED so we had a small party for him

his family was actually upset that he went to classes and got it

Looks like it was a busy night here! I don't think I'll ever be able to read back and catch up before work.

I have been up for over two hours cleaning! I'm so proud of myself. I've gotten laundry done and some stuff in the kitchen and I wouldn't allow myself to dis until I got certain things done! Not that I don't want to get on here and dis but I've got to start taking back the house and let it know who's really in charge here! (It thinks it is!)

I did that on Saturday-work up to go to the BR and saw the house in shambles-got it whipped back in shape in about 2hrs-it's amazing how fast the house can get dirty(something we all know too well)

I'm thrilled he finished liek I said DH didn't really have any choice and I saw first hand how hard life is without and Education

DH was lucky his boss at the time was really cool
small company family atmosphere and they really got behind him with support and raises and stuff
gave him a big raise when he got his diploma

of course she also have him a quarter raise for danicng with me at a party
she was (still is ) a little different :rolleyes:

My DH got a GED too-his family moved during his senior year to NC from MI-not very nice and DH said that the HS was so far behind what he was doing that he just quit and took the GED test about a month later!!!

He says he plans on moving in with that crazy girl that lived in our basement-and another friend that already lives there-but whenever he goes over there he brings his own bowls/utensils-he's afraid to eat off their stuff-so that should go over well :lmao:

but he just might move in with my sister for awhile if that doesn't work and then maybe by winter he'll come live with us-I can only hope :wizard:

Pretty good. DH found 4 pair of pants out of about a dozen that he liked. :confused3 And of course I didn't have any trouble at all finding something that I liked. So I ended up with two pair of jeans. :rotfl:

The good thing about it was that the total bill was $241. but after discounts we ended up paying $89 for 6 pair of pants. :thumbsup2 I love JcPenneys when they are doing their 70% off sale.
