I hate going to the grocery store!!! if I go to stores in the morning, before work, I don't mind as much...but the afternoon it is a zoo...plus, two mom&pops stores in this area closed and now there are much more people who go to the store I go too...could be worse though, I could have DH and/or the kids with me :scared: DH always wants to buy junks and the kids are so distracting...o.k. I think I am better off dealing with the afterwork crowds than my family...I will brave the store this afternoon :faint:

DH talked to his friend and we can go this weekend to see the butterflies. :cheer2: DH (you know I married the an outdoor man :rolleyes: ) says that the butterfly wings are really fragile and so if I put them in a frame, etc. they will probable get damaged in the mail...so, I am going to look online for info on those clear plastic stuff people put them in...I think it will be a fun project for our family...the kids will enjoy it ::yes::

It seemed like I had a coupon for everything I needed today. Plus using coupons is the only way I get some of the fun stuff the boys like, like fruit roll-ups and that sort of stuff that I'll only buy if I have a coupon.

I was pleased! Now if I can just get it all put away. I rushed home, put the cold stuff away, went and picked up Andrew and Matthew and took them to the dentist, came back home and then went to the meeting at school. Did really well. I am trying to do more freezer cooking lately...it seems to be helpful since I get home late during the week. I found a recipe for Cheeseburger Quiche today, so DD and I made 4 pies :earseek: It was good, but wow, it was just full of fat...eggs, hamburger, mayo, cheese etc. :scared:
DD and I also made about 6 dozen oatmeal/chocolate chip cookies :rotfl: I baked about 20 and then froze the rest in ball shapes to bake later :rotfl: I have a few more things to make and then I think I am good for a while...

Did really well. I am trying to do more freezer cooking lately...it seems to be helpful since I get home late during the week. I found a recipe for Cheeseburger Quiche today, so DD and I made 4 pies :earseek: It was good, but wow, it was just full of fat...eggs, hamburger, mayo, cheese etc. :scared:
DD and I also made about 6 dozen oatmeal/chocolate chip cookies :rotfl: I baked about 20 and then froze the rest in ball shapes to bake later :rotfl: I have a few more things to make and then I think I am good for a while...
Working tonight? I thought you had internet on only Friday and Sunday nights?
Could you please share this with the rest of us. It sounds pretty darn good when the first thing you say is FAT! :teeth:

I put my post back and I definelty don't think it is crazy...when you know, you know. Remember, DH and I only dated 3 weeks before he proposed and we were married 3 months later...that was 8 years ago. And Kayla starting dating her DH on the same night they met and I think he proposed a few days later...and they have been together many years and she seems really happy with him...so it isn't crazy at all...it is called "knowing what you want and finding someone that has those qualities" ::yes:: And I don't think it is crazy to pray, I pray all the time and I truely believe in God ::yes:: You keep on the path of changing your life for the better...don't stop.

yeah.. we have to stay to "clean the floor" We start the cleaning about 3 hours before we close, but since people are always shopping you always have to go back and redo stuff.

It is beautiful here too. Like a spring day. I just took some stuff out to the chickens (they like when I clean out the pantry) and I didn't want to come back in. I stopped and refilled all the bird feeders on the way back in and just enjoyed the weather!
