No, he wants to go outside. But he is afraid to walk across the kitchen floor. He fell on it like last year or so, and he is almost completly blind. We have moved his food and water to a carpeted room, so he can stand up straight. We also did that so our other dog, his boss, won't eat his food.

It was fun. The bad thing is that I used to have the biggest crush on him when I was younger. He was really sweet and kept pulling out my chair for me, and we talked all night. Good thing Alberts mom kept my cousin busy, and we had the time to talk. It was really nice and he's really a sweet guy:blush:

I'm not feeling too great, took A.J. to school, went and had bloodwork done and then came home and went back to bed. I'm just now getting up. Can you believe it? What a waste of a day! :sad1: The headaches are gone though I just feell yuck! No energy!

We got NASTY ICE last night

I would actually prefer snow :eek:

DH left for work and I sat by the phone a nervouse wreck until he called to tell me he was safe

at the end of out road is a large Hill and it ends right into a main highway so
if you miss the stop sign you have no where to go and since the hill is all ice
this AM i was worried

but he made it

I will not be going out until it WARMS UP and melts the ice

I'll tell you how I did them .....

I would take a peanut butter jar (empty and clean)
and go out in the yard and catch a bee

I would then put the jar in the freezer for a few minutes so the bee would go to sleep (not to long our they would freeze and die)

then I would take it out and tie a plong piece of sewing thread around where it's head met it's body

than lie it on a rock in the sun so it warmed up and woke up

it would than start buzzing around
and there I had a kite
and when i was done

I would just give the string a Yank and the poor bee would be decapitated :eek:

Okay so I was a strange sick child I was only around 8 or 10

didn't last long once Mom found out
she was NOT happy at all

Yeah, kinda of.

I just called the dr office and got the results of the bloodwork and it's pretty normal. I was concerned about sugar problems and she said that mine is a 6 and the normal range is to 5.75. However, even though I'm above the normal range I'm not above enough to where they usually start to consider diabetes. They usually start to consider that at 7.

My dr is out of town and I have an appointment with him on the 31st so he may want to do more tests then but for now she said not to worry but to try to watch my sugar intake somewhat.

THat is how I totaled my Truck last Feb was on Black Ice and went Head on into a telephone pole DD was in the front seat and if I close my eyes I can still see her body flop even in the seatbelt
really is hard even a year later Some people say it is still post tramatic stress
but I was trained to deal with that is the fire service so I don't know

Lucky for me DH is driving tonight so that helps

Funny thing is as a teenager and in my 20's I would put my car into skids just to see if i could "save" it

now I am terrified
but 2 head on crashes in 6 years on ice will change anyone I think

We got rain last night, which froze to a nice thin layer of ice right before the snow started. Now we have about an inch of snow.

Funny the things you will do as a young adult not your wouldn't dream of doing now.

DH and I used to do some OFF-Road driving. And one time it was not on purpose. Honestly to GOD I don't know how I missed hitting the tree. We went back to the area right after I quit shaking and the tire marks lead right to the tree but we never hit a thing. :confused3

Tell me about it. When the car finally came to a stop, I said I WILL NEVER drive again. Like Kayla the thing I remember most is DH throwing his hands over his head and ducking down when he saw the tree. :eek: And like I said some how I missed the tree. It was like somebody picked it up and moved it than put it back. We were just dating at the time and I don't think I ever told my parents about it.

And DH MADE me get back in the car and drive home. Shaking like a leaf and all.
