You and Tracy are so right, ITA and thanks for making me feel so much better....now I won't be thinking about it all the way home :rotfl: That is how my house is too, we like to take care of it, but it is a place to live. One day, my dad spilled a beer on my couch when the kids jumped on him and got a panick look, I told him not to worry, to remember this is my house and the fabric can be cleaned up in a minute..that we would much rather he visit. In my mom's house, everything is white :faint:it is really hard with all the young kids...not always comfortable.

Lyn ~ There's a difference between talking and bragging and I really doubt that you were bragging.

I know you told us all the other day about the project you were doing and I could tell how excited you were to be doing it. There was no bragging about it. (Although I was envious....since DH and I do projects like that but it always takes us sooooo long to get them done! :rotfl: ) this is OT, but this time DH was really into cleaning out the downstairs. However, one time (Jake, cover your eyes....skip this post) I REALLY wanted the garage cleaned and he wasn't cleaning it. So, on a Saturday morning before my run I told him that if he cleaned the garage I would give him some nice lovin'. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: By the time I came back from my run he had not only got out of bed, but was halfway done with cleaning :rotfl: :rotfl: of course, for about a year it backfired on me since he thought that each time he cleaned up it was a special event :rolleyes:

What a perfect example! The friend I've been talking about has white carpeting and everyone, guests included, have to take their shoes off.

I, on the other hand, have a muddy hand-print on my wallpaper in the bathroom from when DS (now 11) was only 4! I won't let anyone wash that hand-print off! :rotfl: My friend has made many comments asking when I was going to "get rid of it" and I say never!

then when DH went to go to work this am AT 2:30 his truck is having an electrical malfunction so he had to take mine

that arrived on a day where everything was going wrong

and while the pretzels and the thought behind them made me feel great
they weren't much for the diet so than I said well it is already messed up so I had mac and chees and a milkshake

The semester is all screwed up because of the snow we had before Christmas. The high school is having exams and they just announced today that as soon as exams are over there will be a teacher workday. If there is school tomorrow the workday will be Monday and DH and I both work Monday so I would have to take the day off. But at least if tomorrow is a snow day then the workday would be Tuesday and I'm off!

All of mine were good babies, well except for when Andrew had colic but that's not his fault. They all slept through the night very young (DD slept through the night-10 hours!-when she was only two weeks old.)

But what I found with DD is that perfect little babies turn into total brats later on! :rotfl: Not boys, just girls!

but I've always said i don't want to have any till i finish school and have a job & house for them to grow up in. I'm here...kinda off and on while I fix dinner.

I'm trying something new. Boneless chicken in honey mustard sauce and then rolled in those french fried onions. Someone told me about it and it sounded good but now that it's cooking I'm not sure. I'll have to get back to you on that!

You know what I would do? I would put it into one-cup freezer containers and freeze it. Most recipes are going to call for one cup or two cups and then you can just take it out when you want to use it in a recipe. You can freeze milk, even if it's started to sour. To thaw, put it in the fridge overnight. Only thing is that you need to use it pretty much as soon as it is thawed or it will sour more (and faster).

Do you make cornbread or biscuits much? There was a recipe for cornbread that called for 2 cups of sour milk and it sounded really good. And there was a recipe for biscuits. Myself, I'd do the cornbread but I always have trouble with biscuits.

Well we lost our internet connection at work yesterday due to a Major Circuit out somewhere along the way. Which means no DIS and no e-mail.

Than I had a meeting last night. DH had to spend the night out of town. So by the time I got DD ready for bed and homework done I go to log on to my home system only to find that I am also having issues with the internet here.

Than I call and wait 45 mins to find another connection server only to log on and see that the BOARDS ARE DOWN!!!!!!! :badpc:

Overslept this morning so that means I had to rush around this morning and my whole day seems to be in the pitts. Internet at work was up and down.

Rush home pick up DD to take her to her Grandparents because I have another meeting and DH had to stay out of town again tonight.

Only to leave my house and drive two block and get stuck in traffic for 45 mins. Due to a train block the major road.
