Oh boy DD came home from school today just plain heart broken. Her little BEST friend from Kindergarten keeps jerking feelings around. This is like the 2nd or 3rd time that DD has come home and said that this little girl said she is not her brest friend anymore. She is just crying is little heart out. So I do the same thing that I tell her every time this little girl gets a bug up her butt to do this. That you don't need a best friend. Just be friends with everyone. And I will be her BEST FRIEND for life. Now after all this drama she will come home tomorrow and tell me that this little girl changed her mind and really does want to be best friends. :confused3

Last year when they met they were not in the same class room. Now they are in the same class and it has been a problem since day one. I get this all the time. She is mean to me and she said this to me. WHY IN GOD's name would you want to be her friend than.

I think the other little girl does it just to hurt my DD feelings. We took this little girl home from school for 3 weeks and for 3 weeks she refused to let my DD ring the doorbell. She would cover it when her hand so my DD couldn't ring it. I know it sounds stupid but that is all DD wanted to do. I don't know why. Well everyday she would come away crying. And this little girl watched her cry.

Well the one Friday that I took her home, the little girl tried this with me. Didn't fly with me. At first I said Ash why are you even wanting to. Can't you see she is covering the doorbell. The little girl just looked at me like I had two heads. Than I said Why don't you let her ring the doorbell, what is it going to hurt. So she finally did.

Oh boy DD came home from school today just plain heart broken. Her little BEST friend from Kindergarten keeps jerking feelings around. This is like the 2nd or 3rd time that DD has come home and said that this little girl said she is not her brest friend anymore. She is just crying is little heart out. So I do the same thing that I tell her every time this little girl gets a bug up her butt to do this. That you don't need a best friend. Just be friends with everyone. And I will be her BEST FRIEND for life. Now after all this drama she will come home tomorrow and tell me that this little girl changed her mind and really does want to be best friends. :confused3

Last year when they met they were not in the same class room. Now they are in the same class and it has been a problem since day one. I get this all the time. She is mean to me and she said this to me. WHY IN GOD's name would you want to be her friend than.

It makes me crazy.
:hug: If you find out how to fix this let me know....I have gone through this with DS so many times.....I had a really hard time when his best friend changed schools...then he FINALLY made friends with someone else and then she went on to K and he didn't (she lived in a different district...so they wouldn't have gone to the same school anyway)....It is so hard to deal with these things :worried:

it's a power issue-she must not be getting a lot of attention at home-that or she is very spoiled and likes to experiment with controlling others feelings-I had a freind just like that growing up-it was a real pain :upsidedow
That was the issue with one of the girls at DS school last year. She was very mean and hurtful to everyone. She called DSes best friend "ugly" and DS stood up for his friend and told the other girl not to say those things and that he thought his friend was beautiful :teeth: Then, one day the girl bit him and her mom was there and he told the mom. The mom then told my DS (I don't want to use the exact words here) something to the effect that when the girls dad gets home she is getting a beating :eek: I told DS that we don't use words like that and DH and I talked to the people at school....I was sooooo happy when she went to K. It is really sad though, pretty girl but I think she is neglected at home. :sad1:
